His shiftiness shows off his speed, awesome reflexes, timing and power to knock out opponents. Like performance art and any form of entertainment - fun to watch 😁

He slipped a few punches and made it look like he was reteating... but his feet actually switched from orthodox to southpaw. that change in body language instantly confused the other guy who walked straight into the "jab hand" which instantly switched into the power hand because he went southpaw... @@humphrey_bulldoguk22 the thing that im excited even more about is how he only showboats when he knows his opponents is slowing down, he doesnt showboat when his still not sure what how capable his opponent is, ALSO his coach on the ring side makes sure that ben focuses on hurting his opponent and not to showboat too much. all in all the reason why this kind of style hasnt worked that much is cause the people doing it got too much ego and forgets that their main goal is to drop their opponent not to showboat, i have high hopes on ben in giving this style another chance of spotlight just like how the prince and Ali did it on their era

It's beautiful to watch. The problem with this fight style, is that, one, you can't make any mistakes or barely any mistakes, because once you get caught with your head on weird positions like that, it's night, especially if you are fighting a power puncher who can time you or trick you well. Two, once your reflexes slow down, and trust me, they will eventually, you are going to get knocked out to another dimension. Unless you have great basics to go back to and can fight like this and in a more traditional style. Whittaker better do.

When he keeps going forward, it's a mauling. The show is just fun and hitting early puches from nowhere. He knows exactly how to work a fight.

The guy is fast, no doubt. Add in his peripheral vision, reflexes, & speed. Ben could be a problem for many boxers. So damn entertaining! One of my newer favorite boxers.

I know it is short in his carrer but Whittaker seems like a generational talent. To move like he does and slip punches like that is more than just practice. That is a keen eye and skill very few ever possess. Unless something radical happens we will be talking about this man for decades upon decades after his career.
