I enlisted in 1972 join the army during basic training we had a drill sergeant that kept us out on the parade field for an entire day we were wearing t-shirts fatigues combat boots and our covers I got sunburned on my arms so bad that I couldn't put long sleeve fatigues on I was given an article 15 for willful destruction of government property!! Well, I served in the Marine Corps, and I can say we have our share of chunky people. They're usually in MOS's or platoons that are run by other chunky people that don't want to exercise..yes POG's. I was a pog, but my platoon took fitness seriously.
