Now for Vincero he didn't make that same conclusion but he did state their watches are manufactured in China as stated on their site. sure. As of right now the watch is in a drawer in 3 pieces. I wore it everyday for about a year and a half and honestly loved it. I would brag about it in highschool and for the most part I enjoyed it. Around the year and a half mark the strap completely broke off (I treated it so nicely btw so don't expect it to last as long if you are not super careful). I fixed it by replacing the metal link (not worth the time). That broke a few months later. about a month ago (probably 3 years after I bought it) I superglued it together for fun and tried to wear it. the link broke, it fell on the floor, and busted into 3 pieces that will never fit back together. Long story short, its a cool design and a piece of crap watch. One last major thing to note is that the glass or plastic whatever is scratches super easy. If it makes you happy and you have the money, why the hell not? Just forget about what others think and be you. However, when there are so many alternatives that are just as cool, much better quality, and cheaper; buy that. @Crazy MOFO

Made in china, ahhh gotta love it. There is a big disparity of watch making in China. On one end you have sweatshops with dirty fingers, a poor working environment and barely trained workers. Then you have dust free rooms, trained and experienced watchmakers with at least 10 years experience, lab coats, microscopes and absolute commitment to detail just like Japan and even crazier than Switzerland. Those guys make watches for microbrands like Traska, Dan Henry and Helson/Armida just to name a few. Unfortunately, I think Vincero is the former...
@youngchigger61205 жыл бұрын
Howard Lau yeah just be careful though, it’s really easy to just put the label “made in Italy” and etc. to appeal to the consumer. Many companies loophole around this and create factories with the identical working conditions just in another country. It’s quite slick and a proper finesse just try not to fall for it but hey, I very much fall victim to the “oh that must be from that country it has to be good” type thing.
@Dalziel455 жыл бұрын
There's a reason why Quartz watches are usually cheaper than automatics. The lack of moving parts mean sweatshop and poor working environments do not affect the timekeeping aspects of the quartz movement. And that's the only aspect that matters given the rate they churn these out.
@MrAnonymousRandom5 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't be afraid of Made in China watches as long as a reputable supplier is being used and the parts are decent quality. Swiss made doesn't mean much when you can probably meet the requirements by sourcing the bracelet and maybe the case in China and put the swiss movement in. At least that is what Omega is rumoured to be doing.

This thing costs 159 US dollars...and for that price I'd rather go for an Orient Bambino....or scratch together another 50 bucks and get Orient's Sun&Moon..it is an automatic in house movement, with complications and the watch has a proper sapphire crystal. The case finishing and dial are absolutely superb...it actually looks like a luxury watch for a "non-luxury" price. I would know, as I have the gen 3 with white dial. There is also Seiko and Citizen which are the usual suspects in this price range. This Vincero just looks cheap, plain, and uninspired to me...like some shelf watch at wal mart or something. Minimal design can be awesome, a good example being those Skagen watches, which also cost similar to the Vincero.

The marble is likely added to increase the weight of the watch as things that are heavier are generally perceived to be of higher quality, which is why headphone manufacturers like Beats add metal weights to the inside of their $10 to manufacture headphones, so that you feel better about spending $200 or more on them. I assume it's the same trick here with the marble.

And, by the way, "Vincero" doesn't mean "victory" as their ad states. In Italian it's either "vincerò" with the accent at the end (so it is pronounced as you would pronounce a French word) which mens "I will win", or it's "vincere", which means "to win". Very well made, Ben. Can you please review the Thom Olson watches soon? They claim to he super unique with their ability to add charms to the straps and such but i’m not so convinced. I think it would be an interesting topic for your next video.

Timex or Casio for a identical quality. Or Seiko, citizen, Orient, Dan Henry, Tissot, phoibos, richardlegrand, for a lot better quality for the same or less price.

I have the The Chrono S2 - Blue/Brown. Before this I had no watches, so I picked this up on one of the perpetual 30% off sales. I like the design and it has held up nicely so far. Maybe it was not the smart choice, but for me I am happy with the decision.

1. Valid comments on the strap 2. Which automatics can you get at USD160 that have chronograph features? Please clarify and point is to them. 3. Sapphire coated means it will start showing scratches after a few months. 4. Good honest review overall - I disagree with the analysis on the 316L Steel difference between MVMT and Vincero or how the MVMT feels like Lego or how you get fingerprints on the case. That doesn’t add up. Yes, the Vincero will probably be a tad heavier and feel more solid in your wrist.

This is by far the best review I have come across of that brand.

You recommend invicta ?

I guess that Vincero thinks it will profit from calling cheap watches "luxury" I have a sows ear I'll call luxury and that will make it a silk purse? Not.

This is a good review and I am currently eyeing for a Vincero watch, after seeing this video I'm thinking of an alternative now. Sadly this video only shows non-leather straps. Is there any other budget brands that offer better quality than Vincero you can suggest?

A 150 dollar price tag for that watch? I wouldn’t pay more than 40 at first glance.

That being said. I wouldn’t mind paying $20 for it

What do you think about Skagen watches? Are they any good?
@NathanChisholm0415 жыл бұрын
You do realise that their ad plays just before I watched this video lol how ironic! But as the great pontiff once said "It's a shitter" I'd rather wear a Fossil then that.

Would love to see the Pontiff do a video calling out Alpha M, RMRS etc for their shitters tbh

I really like the style of mvmt watches. Are there any better watches with a similar look? Maybe a bit smaller than 45mm as well?

Good watches on an affordable price are Festina watches.

I've ordered a Vincero. I take pride in living frugally yet I am interested in watches. I cant justify spending much more than $200 on a watch, its just not what I'm about, It took me 3 months to convince myself to spend money on a Vincero watch. But for those reasons I'm happy to buy from a brand like Vincero

buy all these watch brands’ china factory and do a comparison ! (daniel wellington, vincero, mvmt)

Thanks for the great review. As Miyota is Japanese, it's pronunciation is Mee-Yo-Ta otherwise it would have been spelt as Maiyota.
