I ordered the gentlemans club box like 3 or 4 years ago and it had a coupon code for 25% off one of vincero (never heard of the company before). So i ordered a watch. White face, chrome crown, and light brown leather band (like yours but a lighter band). Very nice looking watch. Well 3 or 4 years later and it still works and looks amazing and holds the time very well. I have no complains for them. Its a nice bang for your buck option for budget watches in my opinion

I got one for my birthday about 4 years ago, and it still keeps time perfectly, but the band deteriorated like yours did. Though, I live in a really humid climate, which understandably deteriorated the band quicker. It seems like most of the issue you have lies in the marketing tactics they use. Overblown and kinda silly, which yea. They are. But it's like you admitted - it worked for them. You mentioned aesthetics, which from person to person, are subjective. You can't condemn a company for producing a product that doesn't look great to you. You mentioned the sapphire coating, too, but it looks like your watch didn't have any scratches on it (maybe the camera didn't pick them up). So what's the issue with using a coating vs. not? I struggle to see what is truly horrible about this watch. Overpriced? Maybe. Total garbage? I think you might have just gotten unlucky with the particular watch you got.

Good job I had a father with a €50k watch collection, mostly investment. My dad actually got me for my 18th a 36mm Rolex Oyster with a stainless case and bracelet but with a white gold bezel and a navy blue dial, it sat in my room for a few years, gained an interest in watches when I was about 21 and you can imagine my reaction when I realised how nice the Rolex my dad bought me was. You get what you pay for? I do like the watch I got from them but after a few years of light use the strap broke. Their customer service sucks. They made it sound like they would replace it, asked for pics. Then said their warranty was limited to manufacturer defects and not normal wear and tear. Then they offered me a discount to get a new one. I accepted. But they only allow paypal (which I refuse to use due to moral reasons). A big company as Vincero and they couldn't complete the transaction via credit card. Unbelievable, even a small business could accommodate. I told them to forget it and went with a local company to replace the band for a little cheaper anyway. Your video which I thought was too harsh at first turned out to be pretty spot on when I finished it. @@derkmajirk2308 my Vincero quartz watches are way more accurate than any of my expensive mechanical watches. But I’m not concerned with accuracy for accuracy’s sake. My phone is accurate enough. I’m fascinated by the engineering and craftsmanship of a ‘mechanical’ movement. It’s hard to describe. Orient is a brand with a little history and the movements they use are good for the price. Vincero is a group of Americans who went to China and started mass producing basic quartz watches. Like I said, they look great. They just don’t bring me joy. My Raymond Weil Maestro Moonphase with a blue strap brings me joy. They’ve got a good history and are one of the few remaining independent Swiss Watchmakers left on the planet. And the moonphase is a complication I can look at all day long 😊 think about it, on my wrist is a fully self winding mechanical device capable of telling me the phase of an astrological body floating above our heads in space! Sure my phone can do it too, but this watch does it with a spring and bunch of gears!!! These things aren’t important. But I worked hard for a decade and now I get to indulge in hobbies and interests that would have been untouchable to me a while back.

If you really think about his videos, he has zero interest in people's well-being and confidence, he is trying to validate himself to feel "Alpha" via comments from his viewers as often the "Alpha males" (which is a bullshit term) are often the most insecure. I don't doubt that I followed a lot of his advice and felt better for it, but he's selling brands like a slimy salesman that wants the next buck and then move on to the next chump.

A lot of these cheap luxury watches can probably be found at Walmart for a fraction of the cost. If you don't go around showing the watch to ppl up close, but let them see it at a distance, you can pull off passing it as a luxury watch. The cheap luxury watches at Walmart may cost from $15 to $30 usd, which is much cheaper than $150 to $200. Honestly I disagree that it’s “crap”. Personally I’ve owned Seiko, Citizen, Heimdallr, SWATCH, Polo, American Avatior, even no name brand watches. While I don’t think Vincero isn’t the best quality, I don’t think they are bad watches. Many people buy watches just because they like the way it looks and want something that’ll tell the time. I know several people who have purchased vincero and mvmt watches that are still working perfectly fine and they like them. I’m sorry you had a bad experience though.

For $300 AUD, I though the watch may be worth it despite everything you're saying. I could wear it for a few years and then chuck it. Then when you mentioned that the watch can't even keep time properly, assuming you're telling the truth, there's no way I'm buying one now anymore.
@MisiuAcademy3 жыл бұрын
I think for that price, you should invest in an orient. My watch was losing minutes every day, at a rate where I had to adjust the dials weekly. There are a lot of viewers in the comments that say that theirs work well, so it obviously could have been my luck, but I would still never buy one of these. I recommend buying a more established heritage brand, there are options. Thanks for watching!
@linegrinder2 жыл бұрын
Can someone explain to me which parts specifically about the internals of the watch are cheap? which materials they used are cheap and which materials would you expect at that price point for a good quality watch. All I ever hear is this watch has bad quality vs. this one has good quality. But what about it specifically is bad. I can see the leather probably wears of after a while and that's a fair point, but what about the internals? Does anybody have knowledge and a valid good comparison?
@MisiuAcademy2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I’m not the one that can answer this question. I would assume anything from the mechanism to the components. The leather was shit, the mechanism cheap and it kept losing time.

I own one Design its cool but right now i have big problems changing my battery I dont have the right tools to not fucked up my watch And theres no trustworthy stores on my city to give them my watch Well at least it looks pretty 😂 Things i dont like from it definitely are those nasty leather straps The quality its not as good as it looks on pictures I change them for some cheap 5 dollar band that i found on amazon But the watch by itself not gonna lie I still love the design and has a special memory in my life since it was one of the last things my father gift me before he passed away
@MisiuAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Hi Carlos, I am very sorry about your father. My momma had cancer last year so I know how it feels. It doesn’t matter what the item is, good or bad. As long as you have a special connection or memory to it it’s worth it. The whole video is mostly about the brand marketing such companies do and how they present their products. As you said, the strap is horrific and terrible quality. If it fits your aesthetics and looks good for you, that’s great.
@lukefrost2357 Жыл бұрын
I had one that lasted just over 5 years. I didn’t wear it often and it broke - the dials just dropped off. No local watch shops will touch it. Their guarantee lasted 5 years and so it’s effectively useless now.

I don't know man, maybe they have QA issues and due to which you ended up with a bad piece. I haven't had any issue on my Vincero Chronos I bought 3 years ago, I agree that the strap is not the best- but I find it to be usable. I have a Vessel steel as well for the last 6 months. I am no collector, I know a watch within a 100 - 200 bucks isn't going to be comparable to mid to high end watches. I have even gotten some complements.

In many comments I mentioned that if it works for you and you are happy, perfect. You can also go through them and see many people also complaining. The bottom line is that they are "overmarketed" and there are better brands for the same money. Thank you for being polite actually!

first of all : for those of you who don't know about watches, after MUCH investigation and research that took me weeks to do, the only watches you should be buying from Vincero are " the argo, the reserve auto , the marble auto, and the icon auto models ". when you see the full list of specs for these watches they are more than enough and are high quality watches. Stop buying the other models and crying about how bad they are; instead save your money and buy these models i mentioned because the rest is NOT WORTH BUYING . Vincero is improving their company every year and the watches that i mentioned can match Seiko and citizen brand high end watches worth 500 USD and above ! end of rant, thank you ....

I had a metal strap intead of leather of course. But over the 3 years the watch never stopped, never broke, kept time just fine. It's shit compared to the rest. Fine. But I've had plenty of compliments on it and it did its job at least for me.

Well that was something, lol, thank you for not selling your soul ( accepting a few bucks to tell a lie or push something you don’t believe in on the people that are supporting you) .Also those Men’s “Style” KZbin channels “ style rules” are inconsistent and are just opinions, “one guy will tell you to not to wear boots with a suit and the other guy is wearing suede chukkas”.You can pick and choose a few tips and be careful of sponsored content.
@MisiuAcademy3 жыл бұрын
In their core, some of those channels are fine. Like even RMRS has some decent basic basic knowledge for someone starting. The only person I watch now is the kavalier because he is a really nice guy and Hugo jacomet sartorial talks. The consumer or viewer needs to be wary and do due diligence. The amount of products I’ve turned down just because they asked me to sponsor me or send me freebies is amazing. I refuse to give links even to their website in the description. If the channel grows and generates some revenue from ads and stuff (which means a lot to me if someone sits through them) all of it will go into reviewing quality items or other terrible things I will warn you about. So far most of the shoes you see here are selfbought or bought with my own company funds even if they are competitors. I hope the message gets out there. There’s nothing wrong with liking a product (sponsored or not) but don’t shove it in our faces like it’s revolutionary. Thanks for watching!!!
