It’s actually crazy how In line this is with what is currently happening in my life. I’m currently with a therapist talking about being stuck in the ‘im feeling sad but I don’t know why’ feeling. And you saying to accept the feeling makes so much sense.. And sit and go through emotions. I’ve been watching your channel on and off for the past 10 years and I am not going to lie, I hated you starting your spiritual path. It was like the Ben I was watching was gone. But here I am, starting my own spiritual path. I love you for sharing your experiences and insights.

I'm happy you're here, and what an interesting contrast from your rejection of my own metaphorical death, to now moving through your own, doesn't it make it that much more sweet and quite funny really how the whole thing pans out, I can relate so much to your experience, but still I'm grateful for your honesty, it helps me be more easeful about that season of my life when so many people rejected the parts of me that I shared, so thank you. Sending you all the love, enjoy the ride, even the 'bad' bits Peace :)

Love the fact that you're still doing content. I remember watching you like 10 years ago or so and even if I don't follow you anymore, once in a while I like to come back to see what you're up to and to check old videos again.

Your words always find me at the perfect time - particularly when talking about griefing a dream or an idea of how you wanted your life to be. Thanks for sharing so vulnerably and helping others to think about how they can do the same. As a guy who is working to get better at opening up both to myself and others, your videos always greatly appreciated.

I can't tell you how relevant this was to me. I cried last night over my feelings of not being useful. I do so much and it's never enough. When I go down this hole I lose the will to live. The feeling was ever present while I was doing my PhD. I'm 36 too, I'm a mother, I'm a scientist and now I'm plagued with feelings of not being enough for people. I still don't know "what I want to be". I feel bliss often with my babies and my dogs and being outside (blessed beyond measure) and that's what keeps my will to live alive now, definitely living in a different reality to years ago but every so often the uselessness self talk comes up and blindsides me. Maybe it's not enough authenticity. I'm always wondering what I can offer people. Anyway thank you for this video, feels good to know I'm not alone. Peace to you friend, your awakening is amazing.

So happy to hear this message was for you, thank you for being here, thank you for your awareness and the work you're doing for yourself and all those you come into contact with, and all those who will be positively impacted by the ripples of your transformations, you are and have always been enough, sometimes we come here to forget that so we can get into a deeply driven mindset and achieve things that teach us so much and actually help humanity, even though we sacrifice a lot in the process. Based on your comment alone, you're like me in that you perhaps over thinking things, trying to figure it out can take us out of our body where the feelings are wanting to be felt :) Peace and harmony x

@@benbrown thank you so much for your response ✨ "Sometimes we come here to forget", you're right and there's pain in the knowledge that we've forgotten isn't there. I speak to the stars each night and ask "How may I serve, how may I more fully step into my light, how may I more fully and vibrantly shine love and kindness onto the world". This helps keep me from spiralling and overthinking, the simple request of "How may I serve". Again, thank you, peace to you friend ❤️

Needed to hear this today. I can recognise so much of what you are talking about; work, addiction and heaviness in my chest. I can´t find any motivation to workout nor just going for a walk... and then I beat myself over that feeling of failure of not getting anything done.

The way we feel is all about our perception of our emotions. As you get older, inner peace comes out stronger. You see everything differently. I think you become more humble and don’t take everything for granted. Nice vid by the way!

I love being a voyeur of your life's journey. I know there is SO much more to your day than the few minutes we get to spend with you. But your awareness of the multiple levels of this plane of existence is inspiring to me personally. I've just recently rolled the half century mark and adore the fact that I can still learn from someone despite the fact one not might not have as many miles under the hood/bonnet as I do. My wish for you, my friend, is to find the peace you seek. To come to the ultimate realization that daylight cannot happen without the night, summer cannot warm your soul without the dead cold of winter, nor happiness cannot come without the grief. Embrace those dark times in what is the best decade of your life. Become best friends with that catharsis. You are truly becoming who you are meant to be and your next decades of existence will be pure magic. ✌🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻

Great video Ben! Thank you for the words of encouragement. Many people could benefit from hearing (and coming to understand) some of the things you are saying about acceptance and the ups and downs of life. I am currently doing my final internship as a clinical psychologist, talking and teaching about acceptance is one of my favorite ways of interacting with clients. Some folks want the easy and quick solution but when it comes to your mental (and physical) health, there is no easy route. It's also better seen as a continuum, rather than a 'goal'. Like you say, we are never done learning. The things you are talking about in this video will likely ring true for many people at some point of their life. I would say: keep up with your current path, been following you for many years and I am sure you will make a great coach! Funny how you inspired me with great storylines and visual content around 6 or 7 years ago when I was in a dark place, and how you continue to inspire but now more in a philosophical and coaching manner. Remember to work hard, be nice to people and try not to get lost or killed ❤

I had thought of starting to listen to podcasts etc when i was out and about, getting fresh air and exercise. But the truth is, i find the sounds of nature to be really healing, so id much rather llisten to my surroundings. (im autistic and have other mental health issues) As for the podcasts, well, i never seem to find the time to listen to them, as im too busy pottering around online, with youtube and instagram and what not. Be nice to hear some podcasts tho. Im a bit behind the times

Thank you, and yes I agree, but more than that, on a deeper level wounds and all challenges are pure gold to the development of the Soul, not just something to be healed but to be grown through. My conscious desire to be useful is from a subconscious desire to feel worthy of my life, like I have to earn it somehow, that’s a wound, yet I’ve been blessed to experience the joy of service, now it comes less from a place of lack (I’m not enough) and more a place of abundance (I am enough and with boundaries I can give a lot). Thanks for being here :) I appreciate you!
