I've come back after so many years solely for the sake of reminiscing. not only that, but also to shine a light of gratitude to the creators for introducing me to the great Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band by including so much of their material in these compilations. incredible discography. I finally purchased Tadpoles and Keynsham on vinyl recently. these videos were amazing to me in middle school and though I haven't played this game in many moons it reminds me that this is by far the best GTA they've made to this point. imagine if this shit came out tomorrow with all of the technological advances we're currently gifted with. good grief.

Can you believe this exact video was the first gta 4 video I've ever saw? Back when my internet was so slow that I had to let it buffer a bit for this 480p video🤣🤣 and yet I was freaked out by the amazing graphics compared to San Andreas... thinking holy shit this look like real life... Gta 4 was the biggest graphical leap in gaming history thats for sure. It felt like ps2 jumping to ps5

whats funny about this years later, is that these videos are stylized like old silent films with the title card and goofy music and sound effects, and it fits because it was a first on youtube, a pioneer of its craft. the first generation. it paved the way for video compilations later on, history really does repeat itself because this series truly is "one of the classics"

Where it all started. That 4:3 2008 graphics card gameplay, cartoon sound effects and great gatsby music... I rememeber trying to watch this over a course of two hours of buffering. Getting 10 seconds in and then it loads, so scroll back 10 seconds only for the same to happen. Man... nostalgia is a drug, those were the days 🥹 I know I've tried recreating some of these stunts and glitches and died every, single, time. 15 years on now and now you get kids saying "what game is this?" ...are we really this old that they genuinely don't know?
