One of my favorite memories in one of my play throughs is in the second encounter i ran away and the Mission didn't fail. I drove to another island, Called Dwayne to send back up just so i could have some characters keep me company cause i was so freaked out at the idea of him still being out there and seeing his red dot moving around on the map despite being half the map away and i drove back to where he was and couldn't find him all of a sudden but out of nowhere he darts over to my car and drags Niko out and right as he was about to plunge that knife down into me one of the henchmen leans out the window of the passenger door and just empties a micro SMG magazine into Eddie lol.

I think Niko briefly broke out of his almost complete desensitization when Eddie decided to started to describe how he killed the kids. THIS is what makes 4 the interestingly bleak and intimidating world that it is and makes 5 look like a GTA clone. There's not enough character in Los Santos, and creating a city that's vapid and disenfranchised is no excuse to not have some rememberable characters.
