PLEASE READ - I forgot to mention in the video to wash them before first use for max grip. Don’t wait for them to get dirty before you clean them. They’ll feel a little waxy from the factory. This is just a mold release agent used to get the blocs out of the mold when manufacturing. They’re much grippier once this is removed! Kind regards Gio.

Oi.. I looked on the website to leave a review and link the videos I did with mine. I can not seem to find where they should go. I would think you might want a way to get to reviews on the front page brother. Hit me in email and tell me where I am being dumb hahah.

A very cool bench test for their usability. Quite right to stress that these are meant for larger projects. Superb video, you BenchCritters!

Tested to breaking point - as honest a review as you're ever going to get. If that doesn't give folk confidence in this being a premium product, I don't know what will. These look fantastic - nicely done Gio!

Just got my Gecko Blocs today (thanks, Todd...) and I really like these things. Looking forward to using them soon. Side not..."Viby" is great descriptive word to that sander. lol. I do believe these blocks will have plenty of "gription" (I give that word freely, Todd), to handle most tasks.

I have my set of these Gecko Blocks and even though I have not used them yet I still have full confidence in them. Yes the lighter weight wood moved a bit in this demonstration that movement was slight and in my opinion not a true failure. Courser grit sand paper would most likely cause more movement because of the greater friction. But even then they are still better than just having the piece being sanded just laying on the work surface.

@@robertr4193 thank you Robert. I’m sorry I didn’t of that, hopefully this will still provide some value to give people an idea of what to expect 👍

Not a problem I still believe that it was a valid demonstration. Most time when a person will be using these Gecko Blocks they will most likely be using the finer grit of sandpaper because they will be starting the final finishing process when they will will want to be protecting the back or under side. The coarser grits they can just clamp the work piece directly to the work bench because they will not be too concerned about scratches because they will be sanding the other side during the finishing. When they flip it to the opposite side they may choose to use the Gecko Blocks then to help preserve what they just sanded.
