Are you a professional technician? Where did you learn all this? Trying to decide whether I need this tool for frankensteining my whole resto-mod together. Right now am using old drill batteries for a DC source- this looks way more useful for that purpose. Also need to troubleshoot and make work the Transfer case controls- which I think this might be useful for. I gave up on my can bus efforts with my BMW seats and just did direct power to motors to get them going. Learning a lot as I go though!

just buy 12v dc plug in power supply and 2 on/off switches so you can have battery supply and ACC supply simulated

Ah yeah I know that...the point of the video is to show the bench breakout box...hence the point of the video.

question, will this do any module on any vehicle?
@RobertP7884 Жыл бұрын
as long module talks obd/canbus....you can wire it up on the bench and connect to it using scanner or software

okay... so no more just swapping out clusters when there is a problem with one?

It all depends on what's wrong with them. This will definitely help troubleshoot and verify repairs though.

Where did you get those canbus wires with resistors at the 5:35 mark of the video? I have been searching and can’t find it
