This looks like a nice multimeter indeed and although it’s “just” a VFD instead of LCD multi color screen it seems like a better deal than the mentioned East Tester models.

To be exact, the only difference between the VC8246A and the VC8246B is that model B is able to measure AC voltages up to a frequency of 1KHz while model A can go up to 50KHz. Both can measure voltages up to 1000Vdc (from -1000V to +1000V) and 750Vac.

Any idea if you can calibrate this? or there is a function? I have an 8245 model and the readings are way off

Looks pretty good Livyu, I hope it serves you well. I couldn't help but notice the big scar on your left hand. What happened? Looks like it was pretty serious. Prop strike?

LoL :) no... not propstrike. I kind of peeled of a line scratching against a big alu tool case. Thanks !

@@LivyuFPV Good to hear it was nothing serious. You're never the same after you have had a decent prop fight 👍

@@bloodnocka Well... I had an experience 10 or so years ago with an heli balancing rotor... and I learned my lesson.
