How embarrassing for her, thinking she was in the right. It's obvious that she wanted to pay by her own rules while intoxicated and see where that landed her. Let it go, so unnecessary and I'm sure the Judge was not happy to have to deal with a trespassing charge at the local drink's place.

This is a great case to watch as we often see these events unfold on KZbin but never know the outcome. I also always get a kick out of this judge. While very attentive, he always appears to not give two F's 😅

He is a neutral arbiter, it’s his job to remain impartial and be the referee. I love the way he handles his court. I agree it often looks like he doesn’t care what is happening, but when he rules it’s clear he had just already made up him mind. He just had to go through the motions.

The defense lawyer needs to go get his hearing checked. The bar owner clearly said several times that he put hands on her to move her from the beer garden to the parking lot. The contact did not start on the parking lot. The bar owner corrected the defence lawyer twice. Maybe the defense lawyer has short term memory problems?

I disagree. Yes, the bar owner said he “apprehended” her in the beer garden, but his choice of words was very unclear. “I apprehended her in the beer garden to the parking lot.” What? He said he shoved or pushed her against the corner of the bar, I mean parking lot. What? I got the general sense that shiz was kicking off in the garden, but from what that man said, he teleported her out of a fenced in garden, to the parking lot. Hoodie Allen was making it real hard to get the details straight.

@@randcauthon7702 Hmmm seemed pretty clear to me. He told her to leave when she was in the bar. She moved to the fenced in beer garden. He told her to get off the property and she refused. He then grabbed her and pushed her from the fenced in beer garden to the corner of the parking lot. It sounds confusing because the defense lawyer kept on, I think deliberately getting the order of the events mixed up, to try and confuse the witness thereby lessenning the reliability of his testimony. The bar owner did trip up once but he corrected it.

@@Confused_Philosopher I’m not defending that lady, but the bar owner did not say what you said. At best, he implied it. If you take his words literally, which I do, he did not clearly describe what happened. In fact, he said he “apprehended” her. That means he arrested her. He testified to arresting her. That’s pretty unclear.

@@randcauthon7702 Apprehended does not equal arrested. That is like saying 'detained' equals 'arrested.' None of the bar staff have any authority to arrest anyone, but they are within their rights to escort people off the bar property, even if that involves reasonable force.

I guess the good thing about a tight lipped judge is that there is less ammunition during an appeal, if any. I would be curious if anyone with some real legal experience has an opinion on that. Polar opposite of judge Boyd
