I've had this blade for several years. And have NO complaints what so ever. I have used it for trenching, carving out floor joists to fit in sewer line or other types of plumbing lines. I have used it as a small pry bar to pry out rocks and concrete. It's been a blessing to carry this blade.

I have used mine a couple times when the point on our jackhammer at work broke. All the stuff that breaks other knives. The 375 Ranger's through. Wish Benchmade had more focus on military knives. Bet they could trick up a K55K into the current times.
@goo59769 жыл бұрын
just so everyone knows, the serrations on the back of the blade are used for sawing, fire steel striking, widdling, and reverse combat raking. The grooves on the back of the knife are used as a hammer or added grip for reverse combat. Great ranger knife.

Sorry he offended you. Maybe not everyone believes in a man in the sky. Ever think about that, buddy? But I'll bet you're all to quick to jump on the Muslims whenever they push their religion onto you in any way...

Yeah, I hate to say it but GetTheFO has a good point. I don't go to church (not saying I'm not a Christian) but I do respect other people's beliefs. Just be mindful when posting stuff bud. Cheers.

Not one word about the out of the box lack of sharpness of the serrations, which is my only inquiry. Very impressive durability for D2. Love the simplicity and utility of this knife

I own the Adamas 375BK (D2) and now the 375BK-1 (CPM CruWear), both knives are really really good and in my opinion both absolutely top full steel knives. The D2 version shows how good D2 steel can be, great heat treatment, tough and this with 60-62 HRC 👍 The CPM CruWear version is crazy good, CruWear is a crazy tough steel and this with 63-65 HRC 👍👍The sheath is great too (actually I don't like molded plastic sheaths, I prefer kydex or leather, but the Adamas sheath is an exception).

Got mine new for $144.95 And I have to say its hands down the best fixed blade I have ever owned. And damn if its not tuff as nails. Shit my only gripe is I looked for a gripe. Man camping this thing is a dream for dinner tasks. Good for setting up camp. Hacking up some wood, cutting rope, popping beer tops and its fun to throw. Going to put G-10 scales on mine. After that it will be like the 162 only with a rope saw on the top of the blade and a proper hilt for pounding. Got a friend we are brain storming a sheath. RLTW NSDQ.

Good knife but did u say D2 steel ?
@mealex3037 жыл бұрын
price?
@FactFinderGeneral7 жыл бұрын
Interesting but other D2 w/ G10 options of similar size are significantly cheaper from other decent companies. Quality companies are bringing decent materials cheaper each year but Benchmade still offers something like the Griptillian for almost double knives of similar material, construction, and quality. I'm not a fan of cold steels marketing but the new Recon 1 could keep its own and is under half the price of this. Maybe need to readdress this at some point, though I'm sure fans that don't care about practicality will continue buying them.

Though I love knives and would love to have some of the nicer/more expensive knives my Benchmade auto I bought around 1996-97 when I went to work for a local PD in Ms was put through hell for the next ten years cutting plenty of seat belts, breaking glass in cars ( with locked keys with babies still in it) and houses on fire (with elders still in it), even bull rope that had a very large pissed off bull tangled up, still have that little auto today and besides a little duller and discolored it still preforms and will never leave my side, the only thing the knife I have needed was maybe a stronger blade release button, mine opened in my pocket a few times giving me a bloody leg on a few occasions on duty.

Well this test was what I needed to see if it is worth a purchase for a role that could see as hard or harder use then this video showed, so great video for me. Oh I do have a couple blades that I "stab" Into the ground as it is their primary function(regrind and convex edge) to cut roots while digging/planting in certain cases.
