These are both great knives. I am with you and the super freek is definitely more my size and the price is better. The mimi is a little high than I think it should be. Another great video brother.

Yes you can replace the thumb studs. I've seen videos of them with red thumb studs and they're great looking.

I agree the super freak needs the red studs. I also agree I think the super freak being larger would be my choice as well. Great review 👍

The Super Freek is a must have. Bought mine for a great price on eBay around x-mas time last year.

My Freek is just plain and ordinary.... 🙄👍🔪. Still a good EDC carry, though

It sounds like you have the original(black and grey rubberized handle) these are better known as the super freek and mini super freek. I have an original and love it.

Both my (Super) Freek and Mini have aftermarket red titanium deep carry pocket clips and I did go with red thumb studs on my (Super) Freek. I love Benchmade knives and own all of their Autos except for one.the 7505 . Which I will eventually get ahold of one.

Which one feels better in hand? Can/do you get a good full grip on the mini? Does the full size take up a lot of space in pocket? Is it easy to carry? Thank you.

@@jaytay7989 the mini fur my hand is a little cramped but not terrible. Pocket space eh sure the full size takes more room but it’s not bad at all and totally doable

I own the Hogue Ritter RSK and it is so similar I just cannot see the value of getting a Freek.

When doing a video of benchmade knives and throwing in a spyderco for comparison seems like a turd in the punch bowl!
