This video just makes me want a Mini Adamas even more than I previously already did. Really wanted the LE exclusive in red(Burgundy?) Micarta but missed my chance. Always been a huge fan of Benchmade and for several reasons and own probably 17-20.

I love this knife!! I have the older brother's the fixed blade with the shark teeth at the top and the full size manual that is in full black but ever since I got this one (First Production!) I carry this almost everyday!

I just got the Shot Show edition a few weeks ago and it is FANTASTIC! Feels like I could chop down a tree with it and still shave my face afterward. And yeah, it's great for boxes too! 😏👍

I just got the mini adamas limited edition with the burgundy handle. I love it! It's probably the best feeling knife I've ever held, and I've held a lot of knives.

Awesome knife. I also wasn't crazy about the pocket clip but it was because it bit my hand a little. Weirdly I switched it for the smaller deep carry from a bug out and I like that clip much better. Makes the knife pretty much perfect.

What? You Baton a tree with your Axis lock? Used mine hard and daily for years and NEVER have had that happen. Really think some people have bad luck or don't take proper care of their knives and or use them for more than cutting.

I used mine to cut some blue styrofoam. Now some of the blue has lightly rubbed off onto the blade, giving it a light blue hue. Can't get it off with soap and water or alcohol. Any ideas how to get it off??

I had 3 of them and every single one had up and down blade play I loved the look of it but had to return it . Maybe I'll try again in a year see if I have better luck and if the bugout and presidio 2 can have no blade play what's the deal ?

Seriously? I own well over a dozen Benchmade knives, some carried daily for years even while deployed and have yet to have the problem of blade play but don't yet own the Mini Adamas but plan to rather soon hopefully 🤞

@@solomonkane408 my desert warrior finish is my daily carry and has literally zero flaws. It’s not for sale. It replaced the tactical triage, my previous edc. I have had zero issues with any of my 4 Benchmades, so forgive me if I’m skeptical about you buying four consecutive knives with problems. That seems highly unlikely even for a $25 gerber from Walmart.

There are videos showing the axis lock failing on this knife. Is this an improved version? I started to order one but cancelled it after seeing videos showing it fail.

Falling off? I've pulled apart countless axis locks and have not witnessed an issue with them. The omega spring can be fragile but I think you would be safe. -Spencer

I actually love that clip, if u remove it and bend it slightly, it will provide more tension and won’t “rattle” when tapped. It has happened to me on a couple 940’s 😉

I've had my Nimravus fixed blade and Ares Black class folder since '97 and both still in amazing condition and used in military and civilian life for YEARS. Even have a few that are older still than those, my Benchmade Spike and Leopard..

The Adamas is far from the meanest Benchmade. The lock will fail with a stiff breeze

Yeah outta box it had lock issues but i noticed the centering was off so i hit the knife with a rubber mallet and poped somthing in place it fixed the lock skip and the centering i think its a assembly issue

@@TK-wd7de I’ve got 4 of them, 2 full, 2 mini, all have the lock issue. I’ve attempted online tweaks and tips and nothing seems to work. A fairly light spine whack can break the lock. I do enjoy the mini as an edc option but I’m probably not going to hold on to both full size, there are just way tougher knives out there for hard use situations

I'm a sucker for a coated blade but I get not everyone loves it. I think on the Cru-Wear it makes sense since it's not a stainless steel, but if you live in a place where it's not an issue than non-coated would look pretty clean. -Spencer

Thanks for watching. Genuine question? Why do you believe this about Benchmade.? They helped local law enforcement on a recycle program. I haven't seen anything else suggesting them being anti 2A. Feels like there is a little more nuance needed here. Plus you're missing out on some great knives. -Spencer

@@BladeHQ there are plenty of other and better knives on the market that do support 2A. Benchmade has also financially supported politicians that are anti 2A. Just not a company I can get behind. We vote with our dollars. I would much rather get a civivi, Spyderco, microtech, or boker over a Benchmade. That is my choice and in America I still have that freedom of choice.
