First time I heard about this, so I just tried it. Gotta say it's also not half bad haha. The peanut butter is so strong tasting the sourness of the pickle goes way down. Peanut butter can mask almost any other flavor when put together.

Need to put the PB on both sides of the bread (just because it's easier if you're going to slather it on like Ben did, but it would also make the "cross section" look better). Not for nothing, toast it a bit first to melt the PB, then add the pickle. The mix of the meltyness with the crunch and hot/cold contrast, you got heaven.

I love peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches! I also love cheeseburgers with mustard, raw onions and dill pickles. Another good combo is fritos corn chips filled in a mug and pour tomato juice in the mug and wat with a spoon! Delicious!! Love your videos!

I’ve been eating this sandwich my entire life, and I’m well older than you, but you’re the first person on KZbin that I’ve actually seen make it correctly..lol White bread, not toasted, sliced baby dills, creamy peanut butter!! And most importantly, you have to be generous with the peanut butter, so you don’t taste just pickles. Although, I do think you put double what you needed..lol Half that much peanut butter would have been good. I like to do both sides, so it holds the pickles. This is by far my favorite sandwich, and the absolute only time that I ever eat pickles, because I don’t like them, except with peanut butter..haha!!

Meatball sub with provolone and pickles... Eating like an old man since I was 10 This looks like prison food...but I understand the combo and now I want to try it ..all ingredients are high on my list, pickles, pb and bread. It's wild....and reminds me of my vegetarian years. When I was a vegetarian, I would make a sandwich with hummus on one side , and Macadamia cashew butter on the other slice. Artichoke hearts or crowns, gerkins, roasted red peppers filets and dressed with baby spinach, with a needed 3 year English cheddar, thick cut. The bread being a cracked wheat sourdough toasted. Try it. Trust me

Sir, I’ve tried it… twice. Used sweet and spicy pickle chips with honey roasted peanut butter. It’s not terrible but I’m not going out of my way to do it again. Tastes best when it’s fried with butter or mayo on the outside.
