As a novice fisherman I love the “how to” video’s. Thanks for sharing the great tips on catching rainbows. This video deserves a follow. Keep up the good work

Well done. Tip ups are a spinning death trap for any trout that swims up to one. Jaw jackers are the way to go.

Great video. Very helpful. I’m itching to go out and try these techniques out when the lakes near me freeze over. See you this weekend!

New to the channel, lot's of great info. Rainbows closer to shore Browns a little further out.

That's true about browns, I don't target them that much though

Nice video. Here in ontario i use worms to get large trout . I also use a rod balancer . Jaw jacker is pricey for some people. The rod balancer are 5$,and very compact, they work amazing but its for keeping fish( gut hook) For people who fish to eat, Rod balancer is a good option
@BendItFishing10 ай бұрын
I haven't used a rod balancer yet but it sounds effective

@BendItFishing10 ай бұрын
Soft salmon eggs, and I rig it the same way suspended or right on bottom. With a smaller hook

What about a small tungsten jig with a waxie?

You can for freshly stocked trout. These hold over ones want live bait usually

Would a tip up scare them that shallow?

I think it would

3:40 I sight-fish bows in 4fow sitting directly on top of them. Just be quiet, no need to take an Uber back to your tip-up
