Knew a girl once that we had to talk out of giving her baby girl a name that we knew would be bad. Took ages for her to understand even if it sounds "cute" its still not appropriate. The first movie I ever saw him in was a little English film called "Grow your own". He looked so thin and gaunt in that (as part of the role too), it took me a long time to realise this is the same man. Amazing actor, glad he's making good these days :)

Chiwetel Ejiofor told him that he was going to appear in Doctor Strange and there's a character called Wong. Benedict Wong is a marvel fan and he wanted the role since they share the same name. So he tried to get the part by asking Chiwetel and Cumberbatch to sign a petition and give it to the studio. They turned that idea down but they passed him name along to the producers. The studio got in touch later to offer him the part.
