The process of getting better and better is called learning. If you're learning the basics, you're not a professional. She's in a professional position, getting paid for a professional job, while delivering unprofessional performances. Maybe one day she'll "get there", I hope so. Right now, at least in this performance, not only she's not there yet but, she sucks big time while getting paid. Benee isn't a great singer. But she doesn't need to be one. If I like her voice and the production of her music, than to me it is better than every perfect singing Whitney Houston, Céline Dion or whoever. I can enjoy them as well. To me, a song is the sum of its parts. Great voice, boring production? Won't listen. Astrud Gilberto singing on awesome bossa nova music? Great. I like many of her songs despite her voice being rather thin. She has a nice voice. :)
