This video reminds me of my mother (she passed in 2016 at the age of 88). My mother was a child of the Great Depression. Despite her very humble upbringing, my mother was always beautifully presentable. Every day, she would put on make-up, style her hair, and put on nice clothes. She may not have had any designer labels but her clothes were always neat, clean, and pressed. She had a signature look with a headband and flower in her short hair. Every time we went out in public, people would come up to her and tell her how beautiful she was. She was a very classy lady. You don’t need money to be elegant and classy. My mother was a perfect example.

I’ve been trying to be more feminine lately and I have noticed that people treat me better. I get things I didn’t ask for and people are so nice to me. It’s crazy because I never thought lowering my loud voice and slowing my speech would have much effect. Thanks for your tips! I also get manicures and pedicures now! Not just my feet!

Perhaps this answer is a little shallow, but my feminine journey has granted me many strangers’ kindness. Men will give me their seats at a bus stop, or my male classmates will carry things for me if we’re in lab and the equipment is particularly heavy. I used to huff and puff at my male classmates especially and be adamant about the fact that I can do things myself, but I slowly began to practice receptiveness. Accepting kindness or chivalry is such a great exercise in femininity. And I don’t like bending down in my dresses anyway, so their help is much appreciated!

This is so true, I went through a slight depression & I stopped showing up in the world as ME. Once I got delivered, children gravitated towards me, my groceries were paid for, other women complimented me & I just even felt better about myself as a whole because I was more confident about myself & I truly love myself & it shows.

Hi Dr Michelle, I have always lived my life as a feminine woman, I wear pretty sun dresses in the summer and always get complements, I do my makeup every day because I like how I look. Even though I'am pushing 63 I still want to look pretty. I do it for myself first and foremost. I know what you mean ! I love getting complements from other women most. On what I am wearing or my perfume. I also do the same for other women. It makes them smile !!! I so understand where your coming from !!! Being a good person, and a feminine woman can change your life.(As long a your being real)😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

This is true. At 51, I’ll be getting re-married to a masculine provider/protector at the end of this month. We’ve been dating for many years, but I’ve been watching your videos and also Chloe’s videos for the last year. I changed up a few things about my behavior and appearance. I’d become a bit more masculine while raising my sons alone, but I began to lean into my femininity, and he suddenly proposed.

I am so grateful that my mom brought me up to always get my outfit and hair and makeup neat and presentable every day! She always talked about how it’s not so that you can be the center of attention but so that you have yourself taken care of and are therefore able to get busy and serve others while being a beautiful presence and while pouring out that femininity and hospitality! I’ve noticed countless times how people are drawn to me just by being friendly and looking approachable! And, of course, all of this would be clanging cymbals without the Holy Spirit! ❤️❤️❤️

This video just brought up a little funny story of when I first started my femininity Journey. I started my femininity journey in March of 2020 -2021 this was during the pandemic when we were forced to quarantine and I remembered during quarantine I was very consistent in learning about femininity, because I wanted to make sure that when we get out of quarantine I can be able to start implementing the things that I was learning over quarantine. Ontop of that I remember i was veryyyyy on top of my femininity game plan; I had a femininity notebook I was taking notes in (still have it) I was praying, I was watching videos ,(more importantly I watched a lot of your videos more specifically dr. Michelle), and I even ordered new clothes. finally fast forward in the month of June 2021 quarantine restrictions was starting to be "lifted a little bit", and I remember when the quarantine was starting to be lifted a little bit, I had an appointment where I had to go to my school to pick up something. As I was getting dressed to go to my school I had said to myself "this will be a perfect time to start practicing some things that you learned about femininity, and how much you changed". Especially considering the fact that during that time I was not going out of my house like that on a regular basis. so I had made a promise to myself that whenever I did get the chance to go out I will implement the things that i had learned about femininity. Fast forward I remembered I had ordered this yellow spaghetti top dress during the quarantine, but didn't get the chance to wear it out yet. so when quarantine restriction lifted a little bit I decided that this would be a perfect time to wear my spaghetti strapped dress paired with a cute jean jacket( also keep in mind before my femininity journey I was the type to wear whatever outside because my mindset was "who do I got to impress". now the dress did showcase my body but it wasn't too tight it still made me look like a lady and covered my cleavage. as I was putting on the dress I remembered I just felt like I had this joy and excitement like of energy ready to brust out within Myself to the point that I just kept telling myself" I can't wait to Showcase my femininity and so people can see how much I've changed". Anyways after finishing getting dress I start walking in the direction of my school with a smile on my face and repeating the lines of" I can't wait to Showcase my femininity." now to get the message of this story I have to create this visual example of this side walk that I always walk on when im headed towards the direction of my school. The side walk that I would walk on to go to school every single day was a side walk that was next to a very busy street, a lot of cars would pass by. I remember as I'm walking with a smile on my face and just staring at the things around me, I specifically remembered that I had turned my head to look at the direction of the street, all I seen was like men who were literally driving we're all staring at me 😆 to the point that when they came across a red light , and as they are waiting for the light to turn green they would use that as an opportunity to stare at me a minute longer. when the lights had finally turned green they don't even see that it had turned green. I laughed so much 🤣 thought it was the cutest thing ever would make eye contact with them smile and wave at them . they were so interested in giving me attention that inorder for them to move because of the green light the other cars behind them would be honking so they can go 🤣🤣.... yalllllllllll... when I observed this. I literally had a little jumping cheering moment within myself ,because I really had never experienced that before in my life. ( I mean yes I have experienced a man give me Attention ,but it was never on that level). Not only that when I walked into my school building I had a bunch of teachers giving me compliments , I had student in the hallway just staring at me in like admiration type of way. last but not least thing that happed to me was after i was done picking up the thing from my school. I decided to go to the corner store to get something to eat ,and some guy opened the door for me ( I said thank and gave him a smile) than he precedes to offer to pay and buy me something😆 . I ened up getting 3bags of chips and 2 candy, ontop of that the money I was carrying in my purse didn't even get spend because the guy payed for it with his money. so in conclusion your girl walked out of the store with three bags of chips two candy bars and got to save her money🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 . Ever since that day when I gothome I was like this femininity thing is not a joke and I've been taking it seriously ever since. Update 2022 now and I've officially been on my femininity Journey for two years 🥳🥳🥳🥳 and on top of that y'all remember I said I hadn't experienced that level of attention in my life like that. well guess what ?????? Ever since starting my femininity Journey that has literally been my Norm everyday. When I go out now I always get attention, always have people complimenting left and right I would even go as far and say there hasn't been a day that I haven't got a compliment. just like dr. Michelle said" you're always going to be getting compliments ,even if it's compliments on Little Things". But anyways ladies I say this to say that I'm still working on my femininity journey, I still have a long way to go. femininity is not just something that you do in order to gain things. but femininity should be something that you dedicate your whole life to becoming and so that it can be who you are authentically. Bonus points: when I am receiving attention and extra kind gesturesr from men for example I'm not receiving it because I'm wearing a skin-tight dress and my whole body is out and act out or I'm making inappropriate sexual jokes with them or trying to be like one of the boys what motivates them to give me that extra much more attention is the fact that I've embraced my womanliness and Womanhood for what it is authentically supposed to be ( and carrying myself like a lady )and not only that but men look at me in ways that are in respectful/cherishing type of way. And more importantly I cherish the way I impact younger black little girls and the new friendships thst I was able to form with other women who desire to be feminine 🥰 My next goal right now is getting myself ready to be a feminine wife and mother for my future husband and children ❤

Something I’ve learned that I need to work on is practicing receptiveness. I was at the store the other day picking up four bags of ice and yes they were a little difficult to carry but I could do it on my own. A man offered to help me with the bags, but I told him no I think I can manage . That was a moment for me to act in my femininity and I didnt.

I've been feminine basically my whole life, thanks to my mother who instilled those qualities in me. I've noticed that I've never had to really work hard to make friends in a new place. Because of the way I present myself, people come to me. This has made this part of life easier for me, since I'm introverted and struggle with approaching strangers!😃

What about when you live out in your femininity and outside of relatives (and some retirement aged ladies) you get backlash for it (which has been my personal experience). Even in grocery store encounters I come across women (most who aren’t even acquaintances ) who have a problem with my femininity. Especially amongst peers it’s difficult to find feminine affirming women let alone build a relationship with them.

This happens to me all the time. You wouldn't believe how many women I had to drop out of my life once I started my femininity journey and after I got married. The jealousy was out of control, but I didn't let it stop me from continuing to show up as my best self. Let em' be mad and stay mad, and keep being the version of yourself where you shine.
@shanaeb48142 жыл бұрын
@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 Thanks for the enragement! I don't mind them being mad and jealous, it's when they harness it against me. Such as talking men out of dating me, some people from being friends or doing business with me (I've been self-employed for almost 20 years, part of their problem with me). Some women really let their jealousy go negatively above and beyond.
