I’m SO HAPPY you mentioned NOT everyone wants to be a “Girl Boss” or “The Boss”!!! I never wanted that, I would love to be a stay at home mom! I do have a 9-5 that I enjoy, and put my best foot forward and by no means want to be the boss. I enjoy logging off at a certain time and focusing on my family. I love the “be totally honest with yourself about what you actually want” 👏 👏 love this video per usual!!

Thank you! It feels like everyone these days are pushing for entrepreneurship! No disrespect to entrepreneurs at all they are amazing and talented but so are people who have 9-5 jobs, or work 12 hour shifts. Like me I work 3 days a week, 12 hour shifts as a healthcare worker and it’s the best for me and my life & schedule!

@Pumpkin Latte the more you make the more you're somewhat forced into it.. my husband starting a business because it offsets taxes. I have a business and it's so much work!!!! It's not for everyone and sometimes I don't even think it's for me. I don't mind having a regular job ( I teach), but making my daily pay in an hour Def makes a business look attractive. Also I enjoy my business and love sharing my gifts with ppl.

As a feminine woman trying to get into Research Science (a very male dominated field) I love how you don’t advocate for a specific female role, it’s about meeting women where they’re at. I’m taking full accountability for my life and how I treat myself this year! I want to keep my softness for life.

I've been reading this book called Atomic Habits and it goes into depth about actually becoming the person you want to be instead of focusing on the bad habit you'd like to get rid of. For instance if someone asks you if you'd like a cigarette instead of saying "no thanks, I'm trying to cut back" you should try "no thanks, I don't smoke or I'm not a smoker". Actionable steps to actually become that person we desire to be are made up of those small changes that add up over time. I want this for all of us here. Thanks for this video ♥

I was very hesitant to watch your videos popping up in my feed. With all the foolishness people put online about femininity, it seems like people are making it something its not. I really appreciate how you are encouraging all women to be the best version of THEMSELVES. There are channels pitting groups of women against each other saying that femininity is about leaving just about all forms of work behind and depend on your husband. I love how you encourage women with all visions, including visions of careers and doing rewarding work. I stand corrected, I'm happy I clicked to watch! Thanks for being encouraging to all women & not putting anyone down in the process of sharing your tips. That is exactly why you will continue to grow!

I wasn't sure if being a stay at home mom was for me since I don't enjoy cleaning and cooking. Despite being good at work, I wanted to be home and have energy for my family. In the end, it's been two years and I've found that I didn't enjoy cooking and cleaning because I was tired when I'd get home from work. I enjoy keeping the home for my family now and I know they appreciate me being present for them.

I also wanted to add that I love your idea of a quarterly check-in. I actually had heard this just a few months ago from a woman who lost her husband unexpectedly last year. She was saying that as hard as it was for her to live her life without him, she said that she is so happy that he always took the time to make sure that the family checked in with each other on a quarterly basis. She told me that every 3 months they would have a family meeting to reassess of where things were financially, emotionally, and psychologically. She said her husband is the one that came up with all of these ideas to make sure that everything was taken care of in the family. Ever since she told me this, I made it my goal to make sure that I do the same thing with myself this year. And lo and behold, here you are saying the very thing that I had already begun. I have plans to finish some of my remodeling projects that I did not get around to finishing last year. I did make an attempt to do those things but I make a mistake of dealing with "friends" and trying to cut a few corners to save money. But in the end, I found out that it's best to go ahead and pay a little bit more for work that is of quality level, done on time, and where I can have a warranty and guarantee in case anything goes wrong. I don't have time to go around here looking for Pookie and Benjo!😁 I also had some plans to look into what it would take to receive a real estate license as well as making money by of some lucrative side hustles. This should be a very interesting year. I plan on it being fun as well.

Thanks for sharing this, Denise! That quarterly family or couple check in could make such a huge difference in so many relationships. And Lawd knows I look forward to an opportunity to gather, build and grow with like minded sisters 🥰 I struggled with maintaining relationships for most of my teens and early 20s. I loved your video. The first tip you gave about knowing where you want to go in five years was amazing. I never thought of it that way. I’ve never had a five-year plan for my life. But it makes perfect sense to have one and I never considered that before , thank you

This is one of the most grounded in reality videos I've come across in awhile. It is so motivational to me because you have practical steps about being honest with yourself, basic planning and consistency, and being ok with not wanting to be the.Girl Boss! I'm definitely wanting something inbetween, and I just felt myself breath easier and essier throughout this whole video.

Needed this today !! Thank you 😊 Your videos always make me feel better because I was feeling so disappointed by something I'd Applied for and got denied. It was for my business. It's been a struggle but I realize that I'm still a new business and it's only January. Growth takes time and I don't have to rush through the process. I'm glad you said we don't have to have BIG goals to accomplish but instead bite size them because it makes it more realistic. I needed to hear that as a teacher/solopreneur. Happy 2023 to you lady ❤️ May we ALL get what we want but most importantly do so in love and peace of mind.

No matter how old you are you can start now .i want a better body,i want a cleaner home i want to be a more patient mother...i always try ..i am a warrior.whatever flaws i had i worked and became better..

These are wonderful, darling! Better body - fast, meal prep, walk (at home walk workouts on YT) Cleaner home - clean one area a day, have one deep cleaning day & get kids to chip in/do chores if they're old enough. Get a professional once a month if it's in the budget. More patient mama - be patient with yourself; relax, read, take baths, face mask, nap. Sometimes a short fuse or lack of patience indicates being overworked/overstressed. Create a family schedule - make sure mommy time is part of it 😉 You've got this!

I always make these and I usually get to make sure I'm on the right path once in a while. And if I feel there is need to review them I do. I just make sure they shouldn't restrict my growth or stifle any changes that may be needed

This was the best video, every tip was backed up by actual things that can be done. Loved every tip. Loved how you mentioned that you are wonderfully and uniquely created by God. Also loved that you said you can reinvent yourself at any age, any stage.

This content is solid gold. But I do have to mention that you missed the first R in Quarter all 4 times under point no. 5. It's a tiny thing but when the content is this good, it stands out like a sore thumb. You might want to make a note for future reference to spellcheck (if that is possible) when making images featuring words in a video. I really enjoyed this video, please don't be offended at my feedback. I will watch more of your output. You seem to have a lot sorted out here. I'm subscribing, although I am not sure my definition of feminine is going to be the same as yours - but that doesn't mean I can't learn from you. Thank you, this is one of the most value-packed videos I have seen. If a woman acted on the content of this video NOW, in one year she truly would look back in amazement at how far she had come.

Thank you so much. Your visuals are exceptional. I compare everything I see to them. Beauty to perfection. The hair, makeup, clothing, etc. Just beautiful. It makes you strive to do your best. I don’t get chicks who go on camera looking a mess, to put it plainly. Love all your videos and your format. Your voice is very soothing. Your channel is the only Feminine channel I watch now. I don’t want to watch someone sitting there talking.

Finally got a chance to watch this one! Lovely, I really love the well rounded approach you use to this type of content. Would you consider doing a planning video? You talk a lot about planning and it's importance. But I don't think you've done a video on the topic exclusively. I'd love one if you could.
