So glad you found it helpful.. check out the follow up video with some of the exercises you can try to help fix your posture. For the record, it took me nearly 3 years before my posture was 'fixed' again, so don't feel bad if it's taking a while. slow and steady wins the race!

Hey Collin thanks for making this series of videos regarding posture and core strength. You virtually visited our ostomy support group , (Silicon Valley Ostomy Support Group) several weeks ago. The subject of core strength, which I'm quite concerned about, came up briefly during that meeting. I'm happy to see Stealth Belt address the issue. I've purchased a Stealth Belt, two actually, and will be going for my 3rd - a neoprene one. They all work great....as promised! -Ron

Great tips. How soon after surgery do you recommend measuring for and ordering a Stealth Belt?
@STEALTHBELT2 жыл бұрын
Once you've selected an appliance, you can order it right away! The 'flange size' (outlined in the how-to-measure videos) is the one aspect of the belt that may not work for all the different appliances you may try in the first couple weeks due to their variance in size. Alternatively, if you want to get one ASAP... start with a Stealth Belt that has a larger flange size (like the 3 1/4" size) it can work for any smaller appliance you may switch into later. Hope this helps! Best of luck with your recovery :)

How did your scare heal so well? What did you do to eliminate scaring? Please share. TY

I think a lot of it will depend on the type of surgery you had and how your surgeon did it. In my case, it was laparoscopic, and I didnt do anything specific to help with the scar. Its just been about 8 years and over time it has shrunk down

I’ve had 3 surgeries related to my stoma and can give you some advice: 1) don’t smoke! 2) avoid exposing the scar to sunlight for 2 years 1) get active since it does the miracles for the body 2) experiment with diet: I’m very careful about hydration, protein intake, food fat intake and vitamin intake
