There’s a Hadith of the prophet Muhammad Salalahu alayhi wassalam where stated that if you cannot control your sexual desires and urges fast as fasting diminishes sexual power. Your needs will overtake your desires subhanallah

i have experienced great benefit from eating less than i desired. your body is not the only thing that will benefit from it but also your mind become sharper and more active. also eating until you are full is obeying your nafs, the more often you do it the weaker you are against it.

I personally feel, overeating is very corruptive. Urwah reported: Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: Verily, the first trial to occur in this nation after the passing of its Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was people eating to their fill. For when people fill their stomachs, their bodies are fattened, their hearts are hardened, and their desires are uncontrollable. Source: al-Jū’ li-Ibn Abī Dunyā 22

Try to cut down on the calories, brother that will help... Low carb diet, drink plenty water, keep up the electrolytes. Obviously in moderation don't over do it!

Asalamualaikum everyone, I would like to ask that, in order for a Muslim man to be strong and powerful for the sake of Allah, then isn’t it best to avoid hunger? This has many benefits for personal health and that of the Ummah. May Allah ease our paths of seeking knowledge. JazakAllahu Khair if anyone answers 🤲❤️.

Do what is best for your body and don't go to extremes. Shaykh Bin Baz has said it is not blameworthy to eat to satisfaction if the fullness is not overly full.

Crazy because my imaan is stronger when I eat less and when I’m not fat but whenever I overeat or get fat I’m lazy and my deeds slack

Yet many ulema including Bin Baz have said that eating to satisfaction (not past fullness) is not blameworthy and being comfortably full and satisfied is not opposite of the hadith of the thirds. Fasting diets are especially harmful for women in their childbearing years and many people misapply this type of advice and go into extreme behaviour, especially if they have a tendency for disordered food behaviours which is more common these days. Just some food for thought.
