Why haven't we witnessed a migration of the carnivore community replacing beef with lamb? It's so delicious!!! Isn't the increased digestibility and abundant omega 3 enough of a reason??? The Whole Foods near me changes $38 a pound of grass-fed ribeyes. I can but delicious! lamb shoulder for 5.99 a pound and get MORE omega 3 from the lamb! Who else wants to transition over to lamb and lose the beef. Let do this! Kait; you can be captain.

My wife is Chinese and they traditionally season lamb with Cumin. I used to enjoy the flavour, but have gone off it a bit since carnivore. I like lamb cooked on the BBQ, but generally pan fry it as I lose too much fat on the BBQ. I usually buy Shoulder / BBQ chops and my butcher throws in Chump Chops if he is short on Shoulder Chops. Lamb Shanks slow cooked and a roast leg of lamb are regular meals as well. I was born in 1948 and we hardly ever ate beef most meals were lamb and veg. We had chicken at Easter and Christmas only (which was great, because being the eldest son, I got to pluck and clean them, haha). Great video Kait.

Lamb is probably my favourite meat. Its very common here in the UK. Its local free range, grass fed, delicious, and full of healthy fat and protein. A lot of people dont realised lamb is actually slaughtered at an older age than pigs too. I think its the name that is deceiving. Also I'm not a fan of the texture of pork or beef liver but lambs liver (if not overcooked) is delicious and doesn't have that gel like texture. I love it with some smoked streaky bacon cooked in butter 🧈. Its only like a £1 for 500g in the UK too. I recommend trying it if you have tried livr but don't like the texture. Just don't cook it to much or it will dry out it only takes a minute. 😁 🐑 🥓

There's another benefit of lamb, if you suffer histamine issues it's better for you than beef, as most beef is aged to make it more palatable. This aging process dramatically increases the histamine content in the meat, where as lamb is not aged like beef. I eat lamb everyday now, I could do with being a little more adventurous with cooking it though! 🙈😁
