My SBE II only had one malfunction in its life and it’s diet was about 95% light target/dove loads. It was within the first 25 rds and was with Ammo that was old and dirty. Probably not something most people would shoot out of their brand new $1500 shotgun. Sold the gun to upgrade to the SBE 3 but the 2’s are gtg in my experience

I used to have an SBE2 and it wouldn't cycle anything less than 1oz shells, I had an ethos 12 that would cycle 7/8oz with no problem. All this gun really is is a scaled up ethos (which isn't a knock by any means)

I have had a SBE 2 for a year now and I've put 8,000 rounds through it... never once had a problem... about 7,500 of those shots where target load shots other 500 or so where duck and pheasant load

Hey guys glad to see y’all are left handed. I’m looking to buy the SBE3. I’m left handed as well. Wondering if y’all had any issues shooting the right handed gun left handed. My heart is set on bottom land and it isn’t offered in left handed

None at all! It’s much easier to buy/access right handed guns and it’s what we grew up with so it is comfortable to us!

My sb2 would cycle light loads just fine until after shooting a case of duck loads.

After shooting about 3 cases of light loads over the course of 2 dove seasons through mine it would not cycle properly, I even when as far as to send it back to Benelli but they could not find anything wrong. I loved that gun but the new SBE3 feels better to me. Yours and mine are two of many that stopped cycling properly. I will keep this post updated as I use it more and more. So far after switching to this gun for clay competitions it has not failed yet. (knock on wood)

My other guns are gas semi autos But my Dads old browning auto 5 with safety at front of trigger is like pellet gun compared to this bazooka.

I shot buddies SB3 and it wouldn’t cycle light loads. It would jam about every 3rd one. With that said, he didn’t buy it for a clay gun. Never jammed on heavy loads.

My Franchi affinity also shots the light loads without any issue, i broke it in with 100 or so heavier loads thou Half the price of a benelli but with the same tech. And why do you shoot a Rh gun?

Yeah Bee no comfort tech and no crio barrel and 7 year warranty instead of 10.

ChaoticTheory just preference honestly. We both have really as right eyes so we always have to shot left handed. We are just use to using right handed guns is all for us.

leon keating- a lot of the time the “lefty models” come out later and are harder to find. Both of us grew up using right handed guns as everyone else in our families is right handed. We don’t even notice the difference at this point
