I’m a complete novice but have just bought one with the black anodising and it is beautiful and that’s what caught my eye between that and a Beretta 692 sport . Ok you sharpshooter experts did I make the right decision ? Any tips if you have the time to kindly reply ? Should I get some coaching from an expert as we have an Olympic champion here who is my wife’s patient she’s a doctor and he offered me some coaching .

1. The progressive comfort system doesn't work effectively to reduce recoil on this ultra light shotgun even in 20 gauge I ended with bruising after about 40 shots. Benelli needs to incorporate parent company Beretta's kickoff hydraulic system to reduce recoil in a future version of the 828U. 2. The trigger group removable function is nice but unnecessarily complicated for a field shotgun and often leads to malfunctions in cases where it falls out. 3. My point of impact was waaay under when using the modified chokes. 4. Length of pull on mine was 14.25 inches which causes me to torque the grip because it is too long to sit naturally. 5. I would rather have a full steel receiver, rather than an aluminum alloy to increase weight and reduce recoil. 6. The english translation of the manuals often have errors or odd phrasing that makes some of the instructions confusing. On the plus side in my opinion it looks great, is very fast for upland game and carries well for long hikes. I also like the shim adjustable system. But they have GOT to fix the above.

How did the recoil activated ejector work for you? I want to find a 20 gauge for my wife to shoot clays with but if the recoil buffer on a light shotgun doesn't work that well I doubt she'll enjoy it, but she also gets fatigued quickly with heavy guns.

As it is a benelli first O/U, one would expect some bugs to be worked out before the next model is released...for the cost of this sporting double it should include a weight system to accommodate clay shooters as well..as some others have said it beats them up during rounds due to lightweight.. . & it seems that maybe unintentionally , what benelli has done here is take a simple design and make it WAAAAYYY to complicated, and at the same time ,force owner/consumer to have to replace parts when they "wear out".. ( "replaceable" trigger assy. and "replaceable " breech face)....the new breech area design is innovative though.. but in watching operation i have noticed that the ejectors malfunction often also.. the auto safety is annoying in the field and there should be a way to disable it if desired....it is a fine looking piece tho.. and no doubt a good shooter.. , personally, i will wait until benelli improves weight and function issues before i purchase one of these....good day

Innovation should bring with it elevated performance and not just change. The only innovation I see in this gun is the recoil system especially for ladies or very young/very mature men. The range of performance needs to be considered and if this is your ONLY gun, so be it. Both the application of the recoil system and the receiver give me personally the impression of a semi-auto receiver reconfigured to an O/U. While this may have significant cost cutting advantages in Benelli's material supplies, I really don't see much more by way of elevated performance. Yes, they had to make other changes to reconfigure that over-sized receiver/action but....why? A big part of the passionate double gun world is how that O/U or SxS FEELS. A well made/quality SxS should feel much like....a young lady - smooth, svelte, nimble, beautiful, with curves in all the right places. The aesthetics of a double gun is HUGE. This gun fails me personally, especially in this arena. JMO

قال الله تعالى (فَإِنْ تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ ﴿٥٩ النساء﴾ قال الله تعالى( وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَإِلَىٰ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَنْبِطُونَهُ مِنْهُمْ ﴿٨٣ النساء﴾ يا الله ولِي الْأَمْرِ الخروف نفسه لانه روتيني اخر الشهر في الثلاجه لي ولعيالي اذا كان جذع واذا كان اكبر من جذع يعني ثني فحل الضان سنتين ثلاث بعدين غيره من عياله للغنم والثلاجة عشاء وغداء يومين ثلاثه وبعدين غيره يا غير . فعلآ الي قتل عمر ابن الخطاب هو نفسه 110 عنيزه هو نفسه مطبل لايران وعداوتهم للعمر ابن الخطاب في العالم هو نفسه يحكم المدينه المنوره ومدخراتها هو نفسه وو حشي يحكم المنابر ويناهق منها و وحشي واحفاده قاتل حمزه بن عبدالمطلب يطبله ويسانده وذوالخويصره يعزز والسعوديه قايمة بمهمت اليهودية في السم والضحايا افغانستان والشيشان وفلسطين وبورما واراكان وَمَالِي والكويت وَالْعِرَاق والبوسنه والهرسك والشيشان عََادَلَ حًلَّ عَادَلَ مُنٌصّفْ قال الله تعالى(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِن شَاءَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ ) الايه .قال الله تعالى(حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسْتَقْسِمُوا بِالْأَزْلَامِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ ۗ الْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن دِينِكُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِ ۚ الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا ۚ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ فِي مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِّإِثْمٍ ۙ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ) الايه .[٢/‏٥ ٩:٥٧ م] عادل: قال الله تعالى(لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا... ) الايه . [٢/‏٥ ٩:٥٨ م] عادل: قال الله تعالى( وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ الظَّانِّينَ بِاللَّهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ ۖ....) الايه. [٢/‏٥ ٩:٥٨ م] عادل: قال الله تعالى(وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ الدَّوَائِرَ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ) الايه. ألَمْتَرَبَّصُ بِنَآ الدَّوَائِرَ . الظَّانِّينَ بِاللَّهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ . عَدَاوَةً . ل سلام عليهم و ل عليهم السلام . الأن الحمدلله "***^%
