One miss here is the Grom has a single spine frame vs the Benelli trellis frame being much stronger and rigid especially on side loading. Add 41mm vs 31mm forks and you a much stronger platform. You’re have to spend $850 plus labor to get the Grom a 4 valve head, and who doesn’t like the analog tach over a LCD. Benelli seams like a much better value for money and I own two other Honda motorcycles.

I think the price on the TNT is about $400 less than the Grom new MSRP.. Id go Grom, also with the much larger aftermarket and dealer support.. Also can get ABS on the Grom now and it is a 5spd also. But the TNT especially in the bright green color looks awesome.. At one point at the beginning you hit the rev limiter on the highway in top gear. @SmallBikeStuff In Australia 🇦🇺 making my own rack both for a box & or Ventura bags all weldeded to bolt straight straight on. I only need to work out how to make the upright bar removable. It has a tail tidy. I made a 3mm thick aluminium numberplate holder so you have no need to drill holes in the numberplate, it has a red rectangular reflector underneath it & and an orange round reflector on each side. I worked as a welder. Why make a rack. The only place I could buy on was in the US expensive & so was the freight. It looked flimsy held by 2 bolts with a 5 kg capacity. Mine will be held by 4 bolts & and another 2, braced by a strut on both sides braced by the same bar that holds the rear set foot pegs on. The bike mainly be used for around town grocery shopping when I don't need to use the car. I have USB for phone charging, a phone mount. OK, the Benelli is a Grom clone just like the various Vaders. The problem I see most about the clones are poor quality control issues (welding, cheap metal parts, poor quality bolts etc) and the need to substitute Honda parts into the clone to make it more reliable. So, is the Benelli quality closer to the Vader clones or closer to the Grom quality?

@garymiller37542 жыл бұрын
@@hell6960 Its a safety feature that don't let the bike start on my 2023 ABS Grom so you don't forget the kickstand down, and snag it on something and crash. Personally i like it that way for obvious reasons. If your bikes are starting with or without the side stand down, i would have it checked for a problem. I had thought about putting a cam, and big bore kit on my grom for more mph, but didn't have the heart to trash a brand new very dependable little bike, not to mention you have to have a tuner on the motor for fuel management, and if it does not set the fuel mixture properly, you could grenade the motor. Thats why im looking for another new small bike from the factory that has more top end of around 75-80 mph, along with the high perf cam, and 4 valve head, and leave my grom the way it is, but i really think these fellas did an amazing job of comparing these to bikes, keep up the excellent vids.

Don't be fooled by the name. It's made by Ojanjiang which is a Chinese company that owns Benelli. Junk as far as I'm concerned. Honda all day.

I know the metric system is definitely superior to our made up units of measurement, but what is the reasoning for left or right road travel? Genuinely curious.

Yea, I looked at the specs and it’s actually 11.9 horsepower not 13.
