This announcer doesn’t know what he’s talking about at 9:34. Top of the second tier??? Did he not see what they did in 2023, they crapped all over every team for 6 months straight, winning in two sets pretty much all the time. Once they get their mojo back it’s over

Top tier teams are quite a bit ahead of Partain/Benesh. That is a fact. Go back and watch the Olympics again and see it for yourself. Also, in 2023 they didn't beat everybody for 6 months straight. They had some good results, but effectively they won only one elite 16 event, which was Gstaad. The future is promising for them though.

@@lucaspirolli7448you’re not wrong, there are teams ahead of them. But saying they are not in the top tier and that they are in the second tier is nonsensical. If you want to say look at the Olympics, they placed 5th! And beat the so called Italian team that the commentator ranked above them so… my only comment is that they are absolutely top tier, the only team to have a winning record against Norway, and trust me, when I say domination, they were smoking almost every team in two sets, winning by 7 or 8 points when their option game was firing on all cylinders. Calling them second tier is the only thing I think is blasphemy is all

​@overwatchgale4640 I am a huge fan of Miles/Andy but I think you're overrating them. SWE and NOR are on their own level. GER is almost there. After that, I'd say it's fair to say Miles & Andy are in the same tier as Qatar, NED, Cuba, ITA, etc in that they are likely to medal in more than one Elite16.... But they aren't going to have the dominance of SWE/NOR over a whole season.

Ok, you’re absolutely right in terms of dominance, they can’t compete with the domination we’ve seen from NOR and SWE. However, unlike Germany or Qatar or the Netherlands, they don’t need a superstar game to beat NOR or SWE. They just need to be consistent. Germany getting to the Olympic finals was as fluke, and we all saw how unmatched they were against SWE. Losing by double digits practically… they are an amazing team but I would not rank them higher than team USA.
