Would a boat like This be able to make an Atlantic crossing given that you have enough previsions

The channel is something I would like to do if I got this boat anyway so I presume that is something I could do ? And thank you for the fast reply on my first question not many KZbinrs do that so you earned a subscriber

If I can dream of a new boat, this would be a bit too small, but still sweet. Hey, what is that blue hull beauty seen close by?
@Dan_C6045 жыл бұрын
Denison Yachting oh, is ok, no worries, but thank you for responding! I was just curious :)

So what happens when that boat ends up in challenging weather? The amount of glass, especially in the doors, would worry me a great deal.
@DenisonYachting8 жыл бұрын
She is CE certified with a "B8" rating. Meaning she can handle 5-6 meter seas with 8 people onboard. There aren't many trawlers in that size range that can say that.

Denison Yachting Category B - Offshore: includes boats operating offshore with winds to 40 knots and significant seas to 13 feet.

Very nice boat, would be nice to spend a week on there for a fishing trip unlike a regular fishing boat. I'm assuming you can use this in freshwater as well?
@DenisonYachting6 жыл бұрын
yes great freshwater boat as well!

Can you use it for water sports and is it towable?
@DenisonYachting6 жыл бұрын
Good question. We don't know of a larger boat that has towed a Swift Trawler. And yes, a great platform for water toys. We've seen many owners carry paddleboards, Seabobs, etc.

Denison Yachting grate thanks and what sort of price range are they at?
@DenisonYachting6 жыл бұрын
Somewhere between $300-350k for a used one depending on age and options. They replaced the 34ST with the 35 ST, which can be bought new with warranties etc.

I am amazed that a small boat like this can literally travel hundreds of miles 8-10 knots. and you don't have to be vampire billionaire to buy it.

In your written description you tell us THREE times that it uses less than 1 gal/mile at WOT. Wouldn't it be better to tell us that 2 times and also tell us just once what the rate is at cruise speed?
@DenisonYachting6 жыл бұрын
yeah we probably over did that. cruise is similar burn rate.

So it's "my GPS, radar, and depth sounder" and "my Raymarine autopilot," etc., but it's "your bow and stern thrusters" and "your nav lights." How do you decide who owns what? (Maybe it would be better to be consistent and accurate, and say "THE radar," "THE nav lights," "THE windlass," and so on, rather than "my, "your," "our," etc.)
@DenisonYachting6 жыл бұрын
yeah, you're right. good idea. we'll try not to to do this again... very annoying. thanks for the comment.
