Khansaheb is one of my all time favourites and its a pity there are so many adverts which just spoils the wonderful music. I don’t know if anyone else experienced so many adverts.

In a very very simple way our Honourable Sincere Sensitive Dedicated SitarVadak Ustad Sujat H.Khanji speaks out his inner feelings before the visitors where he plays .. as I have marked. When he plays,I feel as if I am before Ma Ganga,sitting on her ghat in Varanasi..where she is flowing before me...dancing with all her ripples..and now how to give any more comment here,I know not. When Shujaat Khan begins his recital, the 2 tabla players are silent. What is that phase of a Raag?

It is sad that Prestigious institution like BCMF has invited shujat Khan to perform. Please note that he cannot be called ustad just because he is the son of a legend. The performance lacked total Raagdhari, layakari, technique. Absolutely below average performance. Even the instrument is not tuned perfectly. To cover his incapability he uses 2 tabla accompanist. There are more talented artists in India and in Bengal in particular. The legend Ustad Vilayat Khan's legacy cannot be carried on by Shujaat Khan. Waste of time.
