In the first game of the year when the Bengals converted that fourth down in overtime against the Vikings, I told a friend that it wasn't as risky a call in overtime as it would have been in regulation. I felt like a tie would be the same as a loss in this division this year, the only way to win it would be through the win column. I'm sure the Steelers feel that way at the moment. Look at the standings now, if Cleveland wins tomorrow all four teams will have six losses.

Since the Chargers lost on Thursday Night Football, and today by the Broncos would move them ahead the of Chargers for a wild card spot(since, as of now, the Broncos have the head to head advantage over the Chargers; 1-0). So, I was kind of rooting for the Bengals to win. But at the of the day, knowing that Teddy is ok is infinite times more important!

There is a big difference. Bengals knew check down Teddy (I pray that he is okay) will not stretch the field. Bengals had to change their approach. Broncos were able to run the ball better when Lock was in the game. I know the Bronco receivers were happy to know that the ball would be thrown to them if they ran a go route. Bad offensive line and poor coaching/play calling doomed Denver. Give Bengals credit in the win against the underachieving Broncos. If only Denver had a competent qb and more importantly...a coaching staff!

Lock throws some beautiful passes! He just needs to sure up his ball security and play just a little smarter. Our passing game was better with him in which opened up the run even more. If teams had to respect the pass against Denver the Broncos could run the ball all over everyone. Their RB's are outstanding.

If you're talking about that sequence at the end of the first half, that was a 6-point swing in three plays. In a game with both offenses struggling I thought the Broncos not only not getting 3 but the Bengals picking up 3 might wind up being critical.

If the Bengals finish 2-1 by beating the Ravens and Browns to end up 10-7 and 5-1 in the division that would be good enough unless Pittsburgh wins out (which is unlikely - they also have to play the Chiefs, Browns, and Ravens). I wouldn't complain about 11-6 though!

As a Bronco fan it’s always cringe to come across so many of our fans talk about our team that year/who watch Football most of their lives but really don’t understand it. No quote on quote production here or there, so let’s just ridicule it. Yes Peyton had declined but in what all he did from experience and a cerebral perspective, but I know that will be like talking to a brick wall. Anyway, to your reply. Man Evan McPherson is turning out to be the biggest steal of the 2021 draft. He's now 9/10 on field goals from over 50 yards. The NFL record for most 50+ field goals in a season is 10. If the draft had to be done over again, McPherson would be a first round pick.

@@snave59 Actually, McPherson left Florida after his junior season, which is kind of surprising because that season was easily his worst (just 77% on field goals). His career percentage was still an SEC record, but leaving after a mediocre season like that was a huge gamble on his part. I'm certainly glad it worked out.
