It was a PI because he collided with the receiver before the ball got there on a catchable ball. Also not showed, which you'll catch in the patreon viewing... McDuffie (chiefs) got a PI against Jamarr Chase (bengals) when replay showed that Chase pulled McDuffie down by the collar, which should've been a call against the Bengals not the Chiefs. Also there was a play where Joe Burrow kept the ball and video shows like 3 chiefs defensive linement being held and nothing called. So if anything the refs were playing for the Bengals.

This loss hurts. I....I don't know what to say. This just took the soul out of my body. I thought we had won the game when we stop them on 4th and 16 but then that pass interference was called and I don't know what the dude was thinking. That pass interference was clearly 100% the correct call and it cost us the game. This loss is gonna have me nightmares for a good 2 weeks

I was at the game and as always, tons of Bengals jerseys and we all get along so well, some good hearted teasing, but they all agreed after seeing the replay. Was tough to see real time, but I also think that Chase’s outburst could have been the real reason. Early in the season, anything can happen.

Mucho pretty much said it all, but as a Chiefs fan I want you to know that you're a good fan in my book. You have honesty and integrity, unlike the excuse-making whiners. Confirmation bias is so very damn easy, and it pays off emotionally, but it's the approach of uneducated children. Why adults deliberately choose to indulge in it is beyond me. "Bengals vs refs" has to be the most STUPID Title ever. The refs Literally DID FUCKING EVERYTHING FOR THE BENGALS THE ENTIRE GAME. That pass Interference call WAS THE RIGHT CALL the dumb defender by the bengals was almost 2 seconds making contact with the reciever. No dog in this fight but no one is crying over the PI. It was PI. The issue was the uncalled holding for most of the game from the Chiefs INCLUDING on that SAME play which would have off set the PI and ended the game. The refs protect the Chiefs at times. It is what it is 🤷‍♂️
