THEN, 4th and 1, let's throw a screen behind the line of scrimmage🙄 There's never any mystery with our offense. No misdirection, no creativity, no variety, etc. Vanilla as it gets. I wonder whose decision was that and why? I assume Taylor, but is Burrow begging them to go for it on 4th and 1 there too? As great as Burrow is, sometimes I am concerned he may have too much influence making 55 million, way more than any of the coaches. That was not the time to be aggressive there, terrible feel for the game I think. It showed desperation...but then again, maybe they realized they weren't winning that game unless they did something desparate.

The Bengals have always been a pass first team. That being the case, you'd think they'd have a solid history of drafting linemen who could pull and block for some screen passes. The interior of the line doesn't have maulers in the middle who excel at run blocking, but they also don't pull for the screen game. It's just in between both worlds, not great at any one aspect, which is the case for almost every position group on the team. Good but not great. Hard to win in a league when you're not great at any aspect of the game.

The game changed when mcpherson missed his 3rd 50+ yard field goal in a row. Lost all momentum, put too much pressure on our D that played great up until that point, and then opened the flood gate for the eagles to tie going into half getting the ball back. The 4th and 1 was the cherry on top from a lead/game we already let get away from us. Horrific secondary all game, horrific decision making, and Evan really needs to look in the mirror and figure out what the hell is going on.

The interception to Chase was Burrow trying to do too much too quick because he knew he had to score again his defense couldnt stop a pee wee football team. Burrow cant be patient and get these long drives late in the game when we’re playing from behind. Our rushing game and every aspect of the defense are huuuge issues that continually frustrates Bengals fans. As a fan im not even looking forward to Sundays anymore at this point because nothing is changing week after week and the problems are consistently the same.

Should've, could have, gone with a two-tight end set, two WR's and one running back. Play action, a fake pass to the left with every one blocking down left and Burrow sprinting out right. Another 47+ TD run? We'll never know! I turned the game off after that. On a side note... Is Elise wearing high heels or did James forget his shoe lifts?

Everything after the mid point of the 2nd quarter was awful. D can't apply any pressure, O can't run so the pass becomes difficult. We'll be stuck with this coaching set up because the D carried us to the SB once

They haven’t had a decent running game since Cory Dillon. They need to abandon the high flying circus act offence and bend but don’t break defense. They need a running game that gets 5 yards on first down and a defense that can rush the passer and stop the run. Ultimately it’s a philosophy problem.

They're just not good in all phases right now, Defense, Offense, Special Teams, Coaching. I think the surprising thing is how they seem to have lost that "it" factor a bit. When Mcpherson missed that 54 yard field goal that would have put them up 13-3, I just had a feeling they're not going to win this game. Then offensive series after they got down 24-17, Burrow scrambles for 8 yard because of immediate pressure, 2 runs that don't go anywhere, and going for it from their own 40 with Chase getting stopped...just awful! They've got micro and macro problems...my Dad though in his upper 80s I think simplified it all though...they got handled on the lines on both sides. Their O Line and D Line both seem below average. This season is very close to over. Mistake was not trading Higgins in the offseason I think, but also lots of front office decision starting not to pan out. I still have this feeling they could turn it around, but it's getting less and less likely.

I don’t care anymore! I hope we turn it around but I’m done until coaches make changes. We need a new o line coach/ run game coordinator, zack Taylor needs to stop calling plays, stop being cheap as owner ship! We need a pass rush besides Trey!
