Just bought this. Delivered today. (i9, 32gb, RTX 3070, 4k OLED, 15.6"). It has a few odd FAULTS that I am curious whether anyone else's has: 1) there is a quiet buzz whenever the track pad is used. Very quiet, but enough to be irritating, and certainly odd. Never had this on a laptop before. 2) the screen doesn't quite fit to the bottom besel flush. So there is a gap between the screen and the bott bezel. 3) actually has the green AERO backdrop when I loaded it. Anyone else had/have similar issues with theirs?

I bought this laptop after watching this review. Tried editing my first 4K GoPro video today after just getting the laptop in Divinci Resolve 16, had a 20-30 second clip in my timeline & the playback is choppy & lags. I bought the laptop, spending $3,000 because I didn’t want that issue & wanted to be able to edit many 4K videos on it.. Any suggestions or tips? Thank you very much for an excellent review! QUESTION: What is the difference between "rendering" and "export"? From my understanding it's the same things. When I am exporting an output video from my Editor it does "rendering", right? Correct me if I am wrong

Rendering is playing your sequence in your work space. Render associate with the system RAM it just shows you what your composition looks like. Exporting a video is when you wanna have your final composition to become either MP4 or AVI or 4k or 480p or tablet Res. Here you have control of how you want your video to look like. Which is playable in other Device without you needed the various footage to play them

I believe the top screen is not meant for the pen. Only the bottom screen allows the pen.

I can't decide between the Razer Blade 15 and a Macbook Pro for graphic design, light video/animation, and programming. Any suggestions? Also, if I get the MBP 16in, with 32gb ram and 5500m, does it matter which processor I get?

Honestly they will perform in a similar way. So I would simply consider the Operating system you like best. MacOS or Windows. For light video and animation you can upgrade the GPU on the MBP to the 6GB variant. That will improve the performance. I would personally stick with the i7. It is nice and powerful. :) Hope this helps.

I am currently reviewing the IdeaPad Flex 5 with AMD Ryzen 5 4500U and it is handling video editing decently... terrible playback in Premiere Pro in 4k.... but 1080p was good. Export times are suitable but NOT fast by any means. If 1080p you could get away for sure, but I would NOT recommend 4k. :)

Could you not have just dragged the window down onto the second screen to use the pen more accurately yes this is a little bit harder than completely flipping the laptop over but it is essentially a tablet on the second screen
