Trying a better line in Fontana | 2022 Southridge Winter Series XC #5

This time I tried the rock-roll line I used to always ride around, and it's a fun feature! I also tried to stay on Gavin and Julien's wheel at the start just for fun, but I couldn't hold the 500W I needed for that long. I need to work more on my 2-minute power. Because I had to fall back on my endurance pace which I have for days. It's just not the right tool in a race that lasts under 60 minutes. Still, that was good for 5th place and currently sitting in 2nd place overall with one race to go.

Is it more difficult to ride cross country with flat pedals?

The technical climbs are more difficult with flat pedals, because you can more easily loose your pedals and can’t pedal one-footed to keep momentum. But the rest is just a matter of preference. I personally prefer clipped in even for enduro.
