I've had one for a couple months. It's a great car. Great performance. Only downside is the transmission can be very jerky in slow traffic in sport modes. You can prevent it by not going easy on the throttle.

Thanks for your comment in here. I've been looking at one and the test drive was a blast of course. I've seen many reviews referencing a 'jerky' transmission when they leave the lot on the test drive. I've seen one review (female review) who highlighted the fact that this dual-clutch transmission takes a good 10 miles of driving to get up to temperature. Low trans temp means jerky shifts. Any chance you've seen the same?

@@Huggybear101 the transmission does warm slowly. I've learned how to drive it so that it isn't nearly as bad. I don't let it creep in traffic. I let the car in front get a bit more ahead than usual so I can give it more throttle, and it eliminates the jerking. I just try to not "confuse" the clutch. It's just a high performance transmission that likes to be driven hard.

the transmission needs to learn the adaption values at the first some hundred miles. Best is driving it in slippery mode with not much accel. pedal. Then this jerky stuff reduces and it shifts like any other c class.

The C63 AMG is also a 4-cylinder hybrid and it comes with 671 Horsepower and 752 lb-ft of torque

@@NikaPiranishvili M139L. Should be noted that in the C 63 the engine puts out 476, not 671. The electric motor puts out the remaining ~200 hp.

I recently retired early and I'm shopping for a nice car to go to the store in and get something to eat. This looks like a good car for me. Are the seats comfortable for long rides? Thanks for your time. I enjoy your content.

I have the ct4 blackwing. Six speed manual. Blew a amg biturbo v8 away on the highway. Remember Mercedes are throw away cars once the warranty is up.

Shouldn't compare a car's price to its cylinder count. The BMW i8 was over $300kl and it has an inline-3...

No no no MB. These small displacement 4-bangers will not stand up to a V6/V8 engine. M340/S4/G70 with the nice in-line or V6 would be the better choices. Over 70 for a 4 cylinder! Maybe for a Lotus but not this.

I disagree, the M139 is a very robust and well-built and engineered engine that is capable of handling crap tons of power. I've seen people getting 600 hp out of M139s with no issue. Also, don't judge a car solely on cylinder count... "over 70 for a 4 cylinder!" That's right. There's more to the car than the amount of cylinders its engine has, bud.

@@adelaideautowashes yeah no thanks…as MB goes it’s a nightmare waiting to happen…high revving engines like this will be problematic along with all the other variables. Enjoy!

@@pokerfred68 Again I got to disagree, the M139 has been out since 2019, and I remember people freaking out saying how it won't last a year and will be so unreliable with that much power... well fast forward 5 years, yeah that didn't happen. As I said, people are getting metric crap tons of power from it. It's not 2005 anymore. Although, only time will tell... we'll have to see with the M139L with 476 hp...
