Just picked up a 2021 X3 30i, I love it so far. I came from a 2017 340i GT. My only complaint is the poor fuel economy for a 4 cylinder engine. It shouldn't be so similar to the B58 engine but yet it is, and it makes me question as to whether I even made the smart choice trading my gran turismo

Probably due to the gross vehicle weight and tire size differences between a sedan and SUV.

Bought the 22 X3 a few months ago when it first came out, absolutely loving it. Came from a 2019 F34 330xiGT so very familiar with the B48 and ZF8, although not sure why they use the same B48 from the old 330 instead of using the higher power one from the G20. The car looks much better than the pre-LCI x3 in my opinion, feel like it tries less to be an utility vehicle and more to be a luxury crossover. The technology is amazing and interior is much improved vs. the F34, and all the important physical controls are still there - well done BMW!

I saw this car has a HUD 0:005 (graphic head up display), but I built the X3 on the website (BMW USA) and dealers don't have it.

They removed it because of chip shortages. The Premium Package is lower now, probably because of this. I was quoted $2,600 for it

Honda crv adjusted price for ex l is 45k. Most of the car companies adjusted prices make no sense. Would u pay 45 for a Honda or 5 grand more for a BMW? It also comes with 3 years maintenance for free.

Japanese brands do not worth 25K more , paying 40K for Honda or any Japanese brand is absolutely waste and loss of money, :)

I don’t think it’s possible to walk out the door with X3 for only $50K, it’ll be way way over after you add all the options you want.

In Canada there is 3 years free service fee for all scheduled maintenance , this is insane :)

Believe it or not, that is not leather. It is sensatec which is their leatherette.

I believe the active grill shutters are more for improving fuel efficiency than keeping the engine warmer in cold weather. They are on many newer vehicles, I think my 2015 Colorado even had them.

How'd you get the Heads Up Display?? It hasn't been an option for me and I've been told countless times that it's not available for the 2022 X3 due to the chip shortage.

CLA 35 is 60K, CLA45 is 72K. 530i or A6 is $62K. XF is 58K. That is the going rate for modern Euro 2.0T from 250 to 350 horsepower.

It is a 4 cylinder but it makes the same horsepower as most 6 cylinder naturally aspirated engine also that 50k is the price of paying a luxury brand.

You will know a bmw is at its end cycle if the tailight has that aftermarket looking tinted ugly tailights.
