The Limited or Overland trims with option packages get you a very equivalent vehicle for way less. If the Summit logo, trim and materials are worth that much more to you, it's your money...

Just purchased one…Summit without the SR package….Baltic Grey with Black Nappa Leather,HA packages. 21” wheels were not my first choice but design is nice. Modern without being overly flashy…wish they went with 22” to make more common tire ordering.

I'd say just get the blacked out altitude trim for 40k less. Only difference is vinyl for leather and less unnecessary technology. It's crazy to think they want 40k more just for "better tech and leather".

Ben, Thanks for the review. Couple questions as you appear to have a good relationship with the dealership. 1. The High Altitude pkg is supposed to come with gloss black roof rails but this vehicle has silver roof rails (my wife's '23 also has silver which we are having the dealer look into). Was wondering if you could get some info on that? 2. Can you provide the part # for those side steps that are on the Summit Reserve in this video? Thanks!

Just bought 2023 grand Cherokee limited First, we had an issue with our trunk door being unevenly closed, which more likely will cause water damage, they fixed it under the warranty but it was not an easy task going through with dealerships, customer service, or the service center. Anyways after that issue was fixed, AC blew out hot air randomly, had to make an appointment with the dealer, and had to talk to Jeep customer care, going back and forth 8 times to the dealer, but it has not been fixed. All they saying is sorry, and to be patient, all I did was be nice and patient with the dealers and Jeep customer care. It’s been my worst nightmare won't buy anything from them ever again!

The Summit Reserve fully loaded has fantastic technology for a reasonable price. I think it is the best luxury SUV in the price range. Jeep is vastly improved over the past several years, no longer the disposable vehicle they were.

So hey Ben I have a question for you this is a limited Reserve I thought the limited Reserve could be ordered with the Entertainment Group like the side passenger screen for the front passenger and also the rear entertainment

That's the Grand Wagoneer you are thinking of, it has that front passenger screen in the 2nd row seating area by temp control area. Pretty cool.

If I were to get a new Jeep this would be it but I want Silver and Black exterior with the Brown interior and I want the 4XE not the 5.7 Hemi it has more horsepower and better fuel economy.

This thing is sexy. It needs the HEMI. The 4xe system is too weak, and so is the v6. This vehicle needs a luxury powertrain. It's $80k.

Significant premium for buttons to lower the seats. You saw that the leather gets dirty too b/c someone with grubby fingers marked up the side of the drivers seat with something black. Good luck cleaning that from there. Speaking of cleaning... I see so many owners who have these really intricate, expensive wheels and they're covered with brake dust and grime. It would take a good 10 minutes per wheel to clean every crevice. I like the Grand Cherokee but for $80 grand, I'm probably spending more to get a Range Rover. Just saying... Good review Ben.

Absolutely hate the body design. We have a Grand Cherokee Overland Summit it's a beautiful body design with the saddle interior. Jeep needs to keep making this style of vehicle. The new L series is just awful to us. We have owned at least 7 if not more Jeeps and we will continue to have Jeeps but this new model is ugly especially the front.

I traded my SRT for a fully loaded Summit Reserve. The WK2 is out dated. Go drive one of these. I hated the look at first too. Takes time to get used to a complete redesign. The Summit reserve looks way more luxurious than the WK2. You’ll come around

a base Land Rover sport start at around 80k, and no one want a base Land Rover sport. You have to pay more for ventilated seats, heating steering wheel, heads up display, interior rear view mirror, park assist, etc. to get a comparable Land Rover Sport to a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit you have to spend closer to 95k

No……none of these overpriced plastic, iPads are worth the money they are asking for….. A vehicle is an EXPENSIVE not a INVESTMENT……at the end of the day it is just a way to get from point A to B. I just road in a friends 1953 Chevrolet pickup yesterday. It was kinda loud a little rough but I had a big smile on my face…..why, there are no overpriced distractions built into it. You are in complete control of it with your touch and brain. Also……69 years from now…..NONE of these overpriced vehicles will be on the road…..
