At home to Watford, we played one tiny 32-year-old striker against 3 giant Watford defenders and only @ 0/2 did he bring on other attackers. Today we had players back and one of our 2 new Centre Forwards.The other, just signed but injured is a Club record fee. so we will climb the table. Went to Wednesday in 1976 and read "The Pink 'Un" afterwards. Do they still sell that local paper? I'm in my 8th decade now. lol Good Luck.

Originally a Saturday sports paper published on Saturday evenings in Sheffield, England." Always liked Wednesday, maybe, because Millwall,, also, played in Blue and White Stripes(my favourite kit). In them, we broke the existing Football League record by going 59 Home games without defeat at the fortress that was The OLD Den where Home fans were on top of the pitch on all 4 sides(3 standing only) and the Away fans were tucked into one corner. in the 1960s.

We need to be patient with wednesday it's nearly a full new side trying to play like AC Milan . We will not get a better manager and have loads of good players . Today was important for us having been knocked out of the league cup by Orient and doing a bit of business after that in the window it was crucial we got a win today and we knocked it out the park. All the best for the season, I like Sheff Wednesday proper club 👍

The experimental Reserves starting lineup got beat by Orient with only 1 stand open and no atmosphere and lost every second ball. Bryan and Emakhu didn't even seem to try/ Today, with Leonard, Tanga, Cooper, Coburn et all starting we saw a different team and they won every second ball. The new Serbian striker is out for 8 weeks though.
