Playing in time is difficult as hell for me. I still have 20-30 ms inaccuracy (Im not shure that is correct word in english but you know what i mean)

could you put a backing track for people to use in the description? it'd help me a lot
@psteeg35518 жыл бұрын
just google "guitar backing tracks", the first results should link you to sites where you can download all kinds of backing tracks from actual songs... all kinds....

Is that a jazz III xl stiffo you're using?
@BenHigginsOfficial10 жыл бұрын
It's a Jazz III Ultex (the black one) :)

why does it sound right when you're playing ahead of the beats? it sounds good to me
@wingsofpurityofficial40319 жыл бұрын
+Ayoub Minen It is difficult to notice at first
@aybmnn9 жыл бұрын
+Wings of Purity Official ok, now that i've rewatched the video after 3 months i can notice that he's playing before the beat, but after a moment my ears get used to it and it becomes normal again :/
@wingsofpurityofficial40319 жыл бұрын
Ayoub Minen I suppose that what we can take away from this is that playing slightly off beat is not too big of a deal. Not to mention that some timing issues can be edited out anyways xD
@aybmnn9 жыл бұрын
Wings of Purity Official yes, but it has to be real man fuck studio 'artists'

I would appreciate more lessons on this topic, but even more basic. Maybe I'm rhythm-deaf, but I have a hard time hearing the difference between these examples, and can't put this lesson into practice. Also, I suggest more tutorials about blues licks and bends with respect to time. e.g. Is it all feel? Do guitarists count time? If not, where is the first beat etc
@actedcircle2918 жыл бұрын
Try to find the beat and drum with your finger to it, then you will notice that the guitar is not playing in time.
@TheBfutgreg9 жыл бұрын
Behind the beat is definitely more noticeable

How to do step one? 1. Download FL Studio demo. 2. Make you're own backing track (use drums only) (Correct me if I'm wrong)
@BenHigginsOfficial10 жыл бұрын
I haven't used FL but any DAW will work :) Drums and maybe add some chords, bass to it. As much instrumentation as you like

My hands can't physically play before or after a beat...
@ronfowlermusic7 жыл бұрын
I know a guy that does this. He can play great solos, but forget rhythm, cause he is always ahead of or behind the beat.

not quite my tempo

playing behind the beat felt 10x more unsatisfying than in front for some reason.
