Benidorm, staying at the Calypso Hotel

Our trip to Benidorm from Liverpool airport with EasyJet, 6am flight made it a long day. A quick room tour, we were lucky enough to get a top floor sea facing view.
Rooms were basic but had everything you needed, including a hairdryer. The location was fantastic, if you like the nightlife! It’s directly across from Morgan Tavern / Neptunes which is at the end of the strip.
The beach was two blocks away, so maybe 5-10 minutes walk.
Hotel food: decent enough buffet breakfast - if you’re up in time for it. I think it was 8-10am? 0
We had half board so didn’t have lunch
Dinner / evening meal:
Loads of options from the buffet, different themed menus daily. Just beware if the waiters ask you if you’d like drinks etc, they are chargeable and not included with the meal - we only found out when we checked out 🙈
The hotel nextdoor was being renovated when we stayed, most of the time it was fine with just the odd loud noise, but if youre staying by the pool it may become annoying. We couldn’t hear any noise from the room - only the music from the bars below which was fine.

Thanks for the comments. We enjoy documenting our travels & like to look back on our past experiences. As for the hotel, it’s a fantastic hotel in a great location, it’s not the most modern hotel - but it more than does the job. Get it booked & enjoy your stay!
