The snake lady has 3 forms I believe, if you'll notice when rimuru and crew first met her she was in human form and I believe she had 1 horn, then when she had a snake tail that was her second transformation and thus she had two horns but with this third transformation she had 3 horns and the reason why the fight took so long was because she just wanted to fight on equal grounds with Yamza instead of mop the floor with him right off the beat(which she clearly could do since by the time she made her 3rd transformation the fight was already over) or maybe she was just toying with Yamza, idk.

Reminder that the 2 clowns (Tear and Footman) are part of the Moderate Harlequin Alliance along with Laplace (who we seen in S2 P2 Ep 2) and Clayman. Moderate Harlequin Alliance serves former Demon Lord Kazeram (Kagali) who is currently working with Yuuki Kagurazaka. So Tear and Footman are not serving Clayman but they are equals in terms of being under Kazeream, thus they are actually almost as strong as Clayman if not stronger, so it was not weird that Geld and Phobio lost the 2v2. Common misconception for anime watchers thinking that they are serving Clayman / are weaker than him. This isn't a spoiler, it's been revealed in S2 P2 Ep 2.

It's a bit of mistranslation but Middray is actually strong enough to be Milim's sparring partner. Not definitely strong enough as her though as said in the translation. Milim is ridiculously strong and you see how she did in Carion and his city without restraint. She's on a whole new level. Also, Yamza understimated Alvis because she only knows her as the "commander" of the beast warrior alliance and the three beastkeeters. While it is true that her traits and qualities suit her as a commander, she is in no way inferior to Phobio and Suphia. In fact she, if not much stronger, is just as strong as the other two. She is really strong in close combats given her arsenal. She has debuffing skills, spatial interference skills and also AoE skills. If that doesn't scream strong to you, I don't know what is. Yamza is just misguided in thinking that she is weak.
