@Ludo Liu 2, Dude I watch all the Benin videos up to this one and I have to say Benin's Government has done a great job with the Country's infrastructure. Compared to other Western African Countries. Benin, has done a great job, with roads and all the asphalt they use, sewage and garbage management. In the videos you posted I did not see any open trenches between the street and the buildings/housing in the Cities. Garbage Management is excellent some other Countries should be able to learn from best practices how to mirror how they do it.

They have those self-contained solar-powered street lighting units in a lot of places ... a big plus for quality of life in those rural places after dark.

Those street lights ... each has some sort of plate at the top. I bet it is a solar cell and the light source is equipped with a battery. Could it be possible?

yes these are all solar lights, unfortunately i didn't see how it looks during the night, i guess i'll have to go again and do a night trip
