This is such a beautiful piece. Though I'm a drummer, this kind of music really cheers me up. I envy the conductor, getting the chance to conduct this beautiful work of art!

From what I've read about him, he liked to be in the company of younger boys. Some boys have said that he made advances on them, but nothing too serious. However, he did find a lover in a singer named Peter Pears.

Got awful music. Horrible grunting for the duration too. Pretentious & poorly written classical music at its best!
