Benjamin Frankel, Symphony No.7 (3/3)

With its dramatic flow and great orchestration, this symphony strikes a positive emotional chord with me. I was somehow especially taken by the third movement with its quirky humor. The symphony as a whole just sounds good, and with his 8th, is my favorite Frankel symphony, although I haven't yet heard his 6th. Once again here, a kinship with Simpson comes to mind.
