Benjamin Kratos .22

Hello everyone, today we are out here with the Benjamin kratos in .22 caliber shooting some 17.5gr NSA slugs size 217.5 We decided to go with these much lighter slugs for the speed rather then the ftlbs of energy. We did find they fly pretty flat and at a decent average speed of about 900fps-905fps and thats with the power turned up (transfer port)and hammer spring at its stock setting. Here's the link to the chronograph we are using. We know its not specifically made for air rifles BUT it measures projectiles from 50fps to 2600fps so it works! Also it keeps a shot count and speed of up to 10 shots

Man, you're right about that impact sound. The first time I hit a squirrel it really surprised me. My pcp is so quiet with virtually no muzzle report. All I'm used to hearing is the "ting" of the hammer spring when shooting paper.

I own a Gen 1 & Gen 2 Marauder 25 cal & shooting Diabolo pellets at 750 fps . When slugs came out I went ahead and purchased an Impact MK2 Gen 5 22 caliber just before they came out with the M3 . I have shot 1000s of the NSA slugs , the barrel will shoot 216.5 to the 218 accurately . I’m modifying my Gen 1 Marauder to get the speed I need for the slugs to reach that magic 875 to 900 fps for good flight . Enjoyed your video , I’m impressed with your shooting skills with sticks and your Kratos !

Good review. I have a Kratos in .25 and I love it. I found it very good quality for the price. It's got the power, shot count and consistency that not many air rifles at the Kratos price have. I shoot .25 NSA slugs and the best one that shoots out of my Kratos are the 29.5 grain, and I have tried NSA from 26 to 33.5 grains.
