Benjamin Moore Simply White Paint Color Review

I painted my daughter's small 10x10 bedroom with 1 north facing window Simply White and it was the best choice I could make. No weird tones.

We painted Simply White on my moms old cabinets few yrs ago. It was very pretty. It subtly warm. But yes it definitely pairs well with warm interiors.

First of all, I haven’t seen your videos for a while but KZbin recommended this to me and I love your new tone and pace in your videos! I like the comparisons. I had a room with Simply White with cool fixed elements that were put in after and it turned out way too yellow for my personal tastes. So, not my cup of tea but so great for others looking for that clean, cozy feeling.

I just discovered your channel, and I love all your reviews! What I really want to see is a review on ceiling paint colors! A lot of youtubers recommend the Samplize bundles in warm whites to decide, but no one seems to dedicate a review specifically, with ceilings in mind.

Simply white is going yellow in our south facing living room. We have a salmon pink fireplace…it was my go to in my old house so so confused!! Any help would be appreciated!

Like you channel! I painted simply white on the wall of my house, but it looks like the door and trim looks yellowish now as they are less brighter than simply white. Should I also paint the door and trim the same color ?

I have a basement room to paint - there is a stained mid tone knotty pine wainscotting in the room; there are only two hopper style windows on the east wall letting in morning sun (the other 2 windows are south facing but are in window wells , so I don't think they contribute much light ) - I was leaning toward simply white for the upper sections of the walls but now wonder if chantilly lace would be better , I do want to brighten up the space as much as possible.- comments welcome

Yes it can depending on fixed elements and lighting.

You said SW can look dirty in rooms with not enough natural light but wouldn't a warmer white look more dingy or muddier then SW?

Warmer with more shade or tint than BM Simply White will work in rooms with lack of natural lighting. It’s all about the fixed elements and other colors you may have in your space. Warmer will not look dingy or muddy when you pair the right paint colors with your fixed elements.

Do you have any advice on how to make it cover better? Simply white and white dove are trash. Their coverage is a joke snd may take uo to 4 coats to fully cover. Is there any way to make it better or is there any of the similar colors better?

You may need to use a primer first.
