Man, I was working downtown Boston right near South Station in '95, if I'd had any idea Ben was playing there I would have been over like a shot. This sounds so awesome - I love how he sings so close-miked too, my favorite singers all do (e.g., Karen Carpenter). RIP Cleveland's own.

@George Lindbloom The last live video footage I have seen is from Randy Butternubs. The Ben Orr Band played Sauce-A-Palooza Festival on Brown's Island, RVA on Saturday September 18, 1999. How do I know this? I was less than a mile away working at the family biz. I never got time off on Saturday's, our busiest day. Bummer. Randy Butternubs has posted Drive, Stay The Night & Let's Go! from this festival. Other bands that performed were: Blessid Union of Souls (Cincinnati, Ohio), Jimmie's Chicken Shack (Annapolis, MD), Joey McIntyre (Needham, MA) & LFO (New Bedford, MA). Notice the geographical connections to Benjamin (sans Jimmie's Chicken Shack which played locally all the time). Ben sings wonderfully, even tho his voice sounds a little strained on the high notes. He is handsome & lights up with his signature smile ! As always, he is gracious with the fans. Check these videos out, they are delightful. Thank you Randy Butternubs for posting them! Benjamin Orr was a HUGE part of my transformative years. So many of my generation were influenced by his music. Dearly miss him. In tears after writing this, stirs up happy memories. Happy tears.
