I did this mod today... and it's AWESOME! It took in 15 minutes, and the bearings cost me $4. It's like a 1 - 1 1/2 lb trigger pull now and I'm LOVING it!

5x9x3mm worked better for my Crossman Titan .22. But want to try a 5x10x3mm...

Yeah I tried this mod. Added the bearing and replaced trigger adjust screw with a longer one. I lost the first stage . It was smooth but I never knew when the gun was gonna fire. I liked what I did better. Returned the spring and kept the longer screw. Now I have the first stage back and shorter 2nd stage.

OMG this did an awesome job of lightening the trigger just like you claimed. I was a BIG fan of Kenny (RIP) but for some reason your video clicked for me. 10 min later I was shooting my Prowler and for the first time really enjoying it! Thanks for the video. Liked and subbed.

What scope do you have? I bought a $30 scope with the gun from Walmart. The mounts are terrible.

I noticed that you left the trigger adjustment screw in the trigger assembly, some videos recommend that you remove the trigger adjustment screw. Does anyone know if there is any discernible difference between having the screw in or out of the trigger assembly?
@goodolboyzoutdoors8415 жыл бұрын
Yes I did leave mine in and got it to a hair trigger and I love it

@@goodolboyzoutdoors841 Thanks, I think that I will put the adjustment screw back into my Crosman F4 trigger assembly and tweak out a hair trigger.

Ya I love the way my trigger is now since I done the rc bearing and played with that screw to adjust the trigger it really made a big difference the trigger would jump to me when I first got the gun put the rifle is very accurate
@goodolboyzoutdoors8415 жыл бұрын
Ok so now I remember why I left the part out it was for the safety when you cock the rifle it puts the safety on so I didn't put mine back so I wouldn't have to deal with that because of how much I shoot and plus I really don't do anything but target practice so that's on me but if you don't put that back in and you accidentally touch the trigger good Barrel will pop back up and it can hurt you if your fingers in the breach

Enjoyed the Vid,But now my i ask what the purpose of this mod was for.I was looking for help on making my trigger pull easier and smoother on my Prowler.Would enjoy hearing other things you do to your Prowler.
@goodolboyzoutdoors8415 жыл бұрын
K.J Campbell Thank you and yes this dose make the trigger pull more crisps and clean. and yes it dose make it easier and smoother. One more thing also i took the screw out that is the stage two adjustment and replaced it with a little longer one and man do i have to say every thing that i have done with this rifle makes shooting it a dream. I wont ever put it down but i love costuming things and seeing what all i can do to make it as better and good as i can. I hope this was helpful.

steve, i don't see where that bearing will do any thing to lessen the pull on the trigger.... it's still pivots on the axis pin holding the trigger witch is only trigger frame to trigger.... there is nothing holding the race of the bearing to the frame.... making it worthless.... it will only make the trigger floppy with the spring removed........ true order to decrease trigger pull would be a bearing mounted to the frame with it's axis on trigger it's self...... stand by dude, i just bought one and will show you how to decease pull travel, pressure with out taking out the safety spring..... i will do it with a babbitt bushing in the frame and relief on the spring........
@goodolboyzoutdoors8414 жыл бұрын
That's not what it is for its to make it more smoother because its hard and ruff out of the box I love it since I have done mine and would not change a thing.

I just did this and left the spring IN . Backed off the adjustment screw untill I was happy, saftey works great. Nice crisp break, almost no creep. No one needs a 1 1/2 lb trigger, other than competition shooters.

@@iggitwilliams4424 all I did was remove the lawyer spring and now I can't really feel any stages and it breaks too easy imo. I loaded it and slammed it on the ground and it went off, even w/o adding a bearing
