Really great! On hearing this I get renewed hope for modern classical music after decades of postmodern Frankfurt Marxist nonsense by Boulez, Stockhausen, Berio and (to) many others.

Exactly my point, music needs to be liberated from its straightjacket from the past in order to find something else in the present day. You can achieve this by starting from your surroundings and find a way in that pigeon hole no one has ever been to. In my case, I went back to Dante's The Divine Comedy and Boccacios Decamerone since the symphony was composed during the pandemic and got more time all of a sudden, as a gift from God.

I am not familiar with the music of Lili Boulanger, bit I hear the influence of Skriabins' orchestral music, could this be correct ?​@@BenjaminStaern
