I had guessed his age in the late 20's. Benjamin does have great genes. It was hard for me to guess his age. I love how Benjamin gives you deep eye contact. It is really something to watch the two of you together. Hearing you acknowledging God, his son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is wonderful to my ears. Putting God first is the glue to the staying power of your relationship. Benjamin is blessed to have you caring about nutritional intake and his health. You have hit on an important fact regarding health issues in the US.

The most I would give Benjamin is 30 Years old. Your age gap is really good..women/girls mature so fast, so it's always better to get married to someone a little older than you; not too much though. But on the other hand, I have seen guys who are mature than their age. I love how Akinyi explains every difference, and how Benjamin has been mature about everything during the 90 day process up to now. Akinyi is so mature. My ex husband was from Kenya he was Kikuyo. We had a 7 year age difference age or cultural differences was not the problem. He was from Thika and has Masai blood. Our son is so proud of his heritage and I encourage it. My Kenyan family are still close to us and they are super down to earth people!

It is embarrassing how in North America, USA and Canada how the elders are left on their own.

It's shameful. I find though that generally elders in N.America look younger than elders in cultures where they are tended hand and foot. In those cultures an able-bodied elder will be sitting in the kitchen yet call out for a child to come make them tea.

In the Western world, we are dependent of both beeing working full time to be able to live. ( house, food, and things you need to survive) that is why we cant take care of our elders in our home. But we have a great system with institutions to send them to , if they are sick, or we have Nurses helping them at home, so they can live at their own if they choose to. Im Norwegian, and it is great here🙂

"Elderly" people in some African countries look so much older @60 than those in America and Canada. Third world countries are, of course, worlds apart in many respects.

My grandmother is 103 and we all love spending time with her. She is a fashionista and loves a glass of wine. Our friends love her so much. She is vaccinated and loves visitors. She knows how to use WhatsApp and loves watching tennis and reality shows. That’s how we do it in Barbados.

Yup. Don't forget the built-in marriage counselling and support. In N. America people believe in the hands-off approach in the name of not wanting to get involved in a couples' marriage. Yet the couple will involve strangers called counselors at a high cost. Seems to me the best counsellors and support is gotten from people who KNOW you and LOVE you.

@@mabelntefre4321 actually I keep it very simple Mabel the only thing I do is get makeup remover pads and use those on my face, then I put face cream on. That's it. I do drink lots of water. eat healthy and excerise. I don't wear much make up. Plus I try not to worry too much things.Thank you for the nice compliment.. And have good genes too.. Indeed, they'll have a long lasting marriage as long as they keep it Christ-centered, also because Akinyi is from Africa. Not meaning that all Africans are faithful or view marriage the same way, in most African cultures marriage is for life. Here in America people are ready to bail out of marriage as soon as they smell financial troubles. When Akinyi realized that the husband's account balance was nothing, she started praying, making declarations of faith while dreaming big. That's a virtuous wife! I think Akinyi is a godsend for Ben, and they'll be successful together.

I totally agree with you regarding the medical condition part. I live in North America and it's the same. Was culture shocking for me too. The saddest part is a great percentage of them really don't have time for church, nor believe in God. Stores are open as early as 8am on Sundays.

You are right, its the same in the Asian culture. I am from the carribean, we are expected to look after our parents. I am separated from my husband. But fortunately,we have an amazing relationship, As soon as our son graduated from university, his dad advised him to take care of his mom. But thank God I can take care of my self. The Bible say your children is your inheritance. If and when I can't take care of myself. God has blessed me with a amazing intelligent young man. Blessing to you. I agreed 100% there's is big difference between the worlds. In black African society we take care of each other. Then in first world it's man for himself and God for all. Then another thing it's the cold temperatures we which kept us inside. Shift work patterns, No one has got time for each other. We all busy. Not forgetting the cost of travelling and living. In Western world your life comes first.

@@irenedavo3768 that's why it's news getting aperson with disability or terrible sickness is news that guy travels far places to get one person with a condition like that let's just speak the truth hospitals are countable in kenya the biggest hospital in nairobi which is the national referral hospital has icu capacity of 24 beds what does that mean the rest are 10 beds, 6 and below and are always not full let's accept that what we eat also affects our health. There very many good things in America but health is deteriorating because of the lifestyle
